Summary: A princess of the Merriblossom Kingdom was cursed as a child by Queen Obsidia. As a mischievous 12 year old, her parents decided to implement the curse (turning into a goldfish) early to teach her a lesson. To turn her back into a human, she had to be pricked by a feather of a dodo bird, the kingdom's national bird. The time they realized that only a living bird could free the princess from the curse, the dodo bird species had gone extinct. With the princess' curse not lifted, the kingdom and all its people had turned into stone. With the help of her walrus butler, princess Emily continued to be educated even as a fish, and eventually left the kingdom with him. Due to some unfortunate events, Emily was separated from Mr. Leopard and ended up in San Francisco. In San Francisco, there she met a young art student, Hans, who heard her story and decided to help her out. Both Hans and Emily shared some unfortunate times and eventually, romance bloomed. On her journey back home to her kingdom, the Queen's subordinate tried to stop Emily from returning however she managed to come back and Hans had lifted her curse by clutch. Hans was gravely injured when he had lifted Emily's curse and by the time he woke up, he was back in his room in San Francisco. With the Princess' curse dissolution, the kingdom returned to its lovely beautiful state. Meanwhile in San Francisco, Hans notices that the people who were involved with Emily had forgotten her existence. He continued to stay low and wait for her. While walking through the streets he sees a little a humming bird and then he saw Emily.
Char. Desc.: A bright orange haired princess who was cursed to be a goldfish, she has platinum eyes. Male lead has brown hair with a tint of green and brown eyes. Side characters are a walrus, a hummingbird, a pretty black haired human and a black-blue haired crow shifter.
Comments: Love this webtoon. The art style is so pretty and it did give a fairy tale vibe. I loved the characters except for Sadie. Sadie stressed me tf out and I'm glad that she forgot Hans bc she's a negative influence. I really loved Emily and Hans' dynamic, I would have been fine if they didn't end up together but I'm glad they did. The story was very very fantastical. It caters any audiences and would love to see this in a movie. I actually like how it ended but I feel like there should be more about the merriblossom kingdom, more about the crow brodey and a little snippet of their real ending. Dudeee if this had a physical copy I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. Overall, I legitimately loved this story.
