Was reading the novel. I think the biggest misunderstanding in the novel is actually Cale subconsciously thinking that he's still trash the entire time he's an absolutely precious being.

Jin Cheonhee is maybe materialistic, but if he's that too much, he wouldn't die and get isekai'd in the first place. He literally died from protecting people. Also, I'm not well verse in war politics, but those who specifically chases and kills children for fun are the lowest of the low. I really like that he barely interacted with og MC but og MC is protective of him, anyway.

Whenever t**nmanhua or 1stk*ssmanga and the likes took over the upload, reading just got painful.
