MUCH. but the author went bat shit insane i cant. look, it’d be okay if the author incorporated rape alright, the problem is that the mc just forgave him??? after being raped, kidnapped, and starved for a week??? like how does that make any fucking sense- at all. it’s not even a psychological that is literally bad writing, plain and simple. if you wanted them to get back together, a little more then an apology was due cause jesus christ that us shitty writing. it wasn’t a simple “oops haha i stepped on your foot sorry babes” it was literally committing heinous crimes against someone against their will. i like myself a psychological horror every now and then but this- god. like killing stalking made sure that sangwoo was #1- in the wrong and #2- his actions weren’t forgiven. sangwoo died in the end because he couldn’t have redeemed himself. he would have had to rot in prison or died, you can’t make a character like that redeemable to someone, especially to yoonbum who was incredibly obsessed with him and who he mistook for his mother. THATS GOOD WRITING. YOU CANT REDEEM A CHARACTER WITH AN APOLOGY AFTER THEY DO SHIT LIKE THAT. ugh. god i loved this book so much, that’s why this makes me so mad. i hope this author dies and suffer eternally amen
