this isekai literally set all isekai off. like it ended when the plot was finished and didn’t drag it out, it did what it was supposed to, and it didn’t drag out the isekai part of the story. the more recent isekai fail to first of all, end and secondly they drag out the entire isekai part of the story to the point it repetitive but this one did its so great we’re kissing

GODDDDDD THIS WAS SOOOOO GOOODF. THE ROMANCE? FIRE. i do kinda hate how both the ml and the mc have the exact same personality. like at least when the mc isn’t mad, they’re both like quiet and straight to the point so their dynamic is ehh BUT THE PLOT CARRIES THEM MY GOD. MC WAS BEUTIFULL. EVERYTHING ABOUT HER WAS WONDERFUL. HER REASONING AND HER ROMANCE WERR GREAT. the entire story felt like i was grieving with her, like she could so easily slip out of my grasp. like GOD. it constantly felt like she was gonna kill herself soon, and even tho she wasn’t, i could tell how sick being in this world made her. DUDE I COUKD TALK ABOUT THIS. all the supporting characters had reason. SHITTY REASONS. but they had reasons for being the way they were. they weren’t all stupid and forgettable reasons they genuinely were written we’ll. genuinely. favorite historical isekai. ever. my GOD

i cant finish reading it i wanna fight her dad so bad WHY ARE YOU CRYING SHES THE ONE WHI WAS SOLD OFF AT 9???? even if he truly loved his daughter, he made 0 initiative to meet her and the first time he meets her in almost 10 years, he dosent even address her, he addresses her husband??? she obviously is not his priority. and where else could she go when she was married off so young? what would he have done if the ml wasn’t so kind and she was raped? even if he was going to sell her off, he made no precautions for her, didn’t even explain how marriage works to her and showed her she had no support from her family. she was just a child and he used her as a negotiator. the ml didn’t like it either so i don’t really blame him but the father who had no sympathy for his daughter has all the blame. if he had made even a LITTLE initiative to see her it’d be different, but he sold her off, gave her a maid and didn’t talk to her for 10 years. didn’t have anyone check up on her. what kinda of father is he and she realized that she had to have a child to protect herself, there was no one there for her AT ALL. her last choice was to have a child SHE DIDNT EVEN WANT IT SHE JUST WANTED TO SURVIVE. her story is so sad and i blame her father entirely.
