Akagi who is always in trouble with the disciplinary committee knows Kousaka from this. Kousaka doesn’t want to go home, because it feels suffocating to him. So when he realized that the smiley nice senpai is not who he appears to be, he uses it as a trump card to let him stay at his house. Akagi has his own problems as well.
