The introduction is a bit misleading. I feel like this story has many different false starts First is the story of a playboy father who neglects their daughter. The daughter inherits everything while the father is cut out of the family. Then it goes on to a story about the daughter and her step daughter. I thought maybe it would be an incestuous shojou ai but it turned out to be a cute sister sister relationship. And now, it's about a set up marriage to gain power between the step sister and the captain of the knights

The ML and FL are kidnapped and deposited on an uninhabited island. They were told that they were married against their will and must produce a baby before they get let off. Only to find out, there is more going on beneath the surface. How deep does the betrayal go and why does that person want them dead?

Love the relationship dynamics. Just sad that the FL is so unsure about her position in the world
