wow....okay....so where to start....If you were expecting a hot an heavy romance, this is not the story for you. This was definitely a slow burn with a beautiful payoff. There are some time skips that make the storyline confusing but overall, I enjoyed the political intrigue and the scheming. Although the king was truely an awful person, you can't help but smile when he gets his just desserts in the end! Fantastic read.
