Omega Complex
WAHHHHHHHH I LOVE THEM SO MUCH TT_TT THEYRE SO PERFECT. I LOVE THEM BOTH Yoonwoo is so strong and resilient despite being a recessive Omega. He bore so much burden on his own and even risked damaging himself so that he could hide being an Omega for the sake of Taegyeom. And Taegyeom was always looking out for Yoonwoo, subconsciously hoping he isn't an Omega so that he wouldn't risk losing him. Their miscommunication and misunderstanding was so cute because they thought so much of the other person, but it was all for naught because they both liked eachother anyway. It ended so beautifully and they make the cutest couple, so in love and so considerate of one another. I really wanted to see their child TT_TT Both sides have such amazing and reliable friends no toxicity, just love and support from everyone throughout the manhwa, it's actually such a soul-soothing read...
A mail from my dead lover
I read this after reading their other work and God... it's a clear 180°. I wasn't expecting to be so thoroughly roughed up when their previous work is so fluffy and cute.. But this was such a good read. I LOVE Yihyun so much.. he's only kind to Heesoo but he cares so much for him and is so considerate, he's definitely what Heesoo needed after so much constant trauma after another.. I'm glad the conclusion was how it was. It was atleast addressed that Taeyung was very possessive and controlling, and emotionally abusive, and I'm glad that even he admitted that's the case. For him to be "the final boss"? That was unexpected but it ended so well.. I'm glad the parents are dead :3 they don't deserve to live after sending a cult to curse their son's boyfriend. Just in case you forget, but CBA to reread cus I highly doubt you will: Heesoo (32) is being cursed by a ghost that will only appear during 2:22am and pm. He believes it's his ex boyfriend, Taeyung, who died a year ago, presumably suicide from jumping into a reservoir. He receives emails from the dead Taeyung, but it's actually an ex-classmate of theirs from highschool, who deluded himself into thinking Heesoo loved him, and later felt betrayed when Heesoo and Taeyung dated. He threw himself into the same reservoir that Taeyung later died in, but his father who became a shaman out of spite for his son's death tried to make worship him and made him into a higher being that could have a lot of powers. That's how he became able to possess Heesoo and disturb his ever day life. Heesoo decides to talk on online forums to ask for help and ended up meeting Yihyun (23) who was so curious in Heesoo's paranormal story that he ended up getting involved. But through this, they became closer and Yihyun became Heesoo's stability... when it was revealed that the Sky Truth Cult (the cult ran by the ex-classmate's father) was found out to be a scam, but also the people that helped Heesoo's parents to curse Taeyung into killing himself, they were arrested; but Taeyung took revenge and killed everyone involved with his death, including the ex-classmate. He absorbed the weakened soul who no longer had people worshipping him (because they're all dead) and tried to take Heesoo to the afterlife once more. But Heesoo is not strong enough to stand for himself. He made it clear that he wants to continue to live life with Yihyun, but will never forget Taeyung. Taeyung is always very soft when it comes to Heesoo, so he can't so no when Heesoo genuinely wants to continue on living without him... but I'm glad with how it ended. It's such a MWAH I think I may read it again. Or think about it whenever it turns 2:22
Work, Fight and Love
Soohan Woo Taeyul Ki Sungjoon Yoon Shihyuk Han The creator of Totally Captivated did it again... a heartwretching story of love so drastic, that if you don't have it, everything falls apart.. I'm kinda sad that Yoon Sungjoon didn't really get a happy ending... he continues to live with a woman that tried to sabotage him, tho she does love him enough to not want him trapped and suffering, while he secretly still loves his male lover.. Tho I don't agree with how he treated Soohan Woo like a naive child who knows nothing, but I guess it worked. They were very cute together, and it's clear from the extra. You kinda question throughout the series whether Sungjoon truly even loved Soohan, but it's later proven that he does, but just has too much riding on the line. Soohan is such a baby.... He has so much trauma from always somehow ending up with straight guys, that when Taeyul Ki rocked up with being mildly homophobic but loving him, he was constantly doubting their relationship and whether it would even last.. but I'm glad Taeyul put aside his own beliefs and loved Soohan well. Kinda mad that Taeyul never brought up that he may have cheated on Soohan (tho he didn't actually sleep with Shihyuk; but he doesn't know that....), just feels like they bypassed that idk.. Taeyul was such a green flag at the start with being so accepting of Soohan, and giving him the love and appreciation he deserves when he had hit such a low... Taeyul managed to pick Soohan back up and shower him with the love that he previously wasted on someone else who didn't appreciate it, and Soohan wanted someone who would openly show affection as did he. But he slowly began to became a slightly tinted green when he locked Soohan up. I know it was to protect him, but they kinda bypassed that he also did that for his previous partner too, unprompted... he clearly has a passed with being a controlling and obsessive boyfriend, and I know it's cute in a manhwa, but it gives a bit of a sour taste in my mouth too that they kinda just said "oop- well he did it cus he wants to protect him", when in actuality it was also because he didn't want Soohan seeing Sungjoon too. He's a murky green flag by the end, but I'm glad they worked out. but either way, it was a cute read. Kinda took a bit long to get to it, but I'm never disappointed when the author is the author of my favourite BL.
His House
It's kinda boring for a Hajin work. Maybe I'm just chasing the high that Totally Captivated left me, but this manhwa was kinda boring. And the twist at the end was kinda off putting even more. The characters are boring and bland, especially Soohyun. His only thing is that he's disabled or he's got something to hide. Gangyoo is more interesting, but even then, the story was still boring. I would have liked to see Gwanyoo and the boss get together, or atleast just more on Gwanyoo's history. The heavy tones of incest but being passed off with "oh we're just halfs" is kinda... eh.. Like you just found out your lover was your uncle, what do you do?? Then Soohyun's half brother tried to fuck him too. DAS CRAZY. If they made him like a step son that was married into the family but was removed from the family after his mother died, then maybe CUS ATLEAST THEY WOULDNT BE RELATED. But no... they very much solidified there's atleast the father who is Gangyoo's actually grandfather that is Soohyun's father.. yikes
My Bias Appeared?!
Binged the absolute heck out this!! All in one go. It's so cute :< and the heartbreak AHHHHHHHH!! it was so good. And the recovery. And the couples. They're so cute. I love Kyusung
Gone with the Bubbles - Specials: Mature Version
I'm glad they overcame their fate and can finally express their love openly
Sun's Blood
Oh damn.... I reread it, and the story is kinda messy but I did enjoy it. Gabriel and Saliou are descendents of the white and black wolves from 1000 years ago, the same ones that originally encountered Paolo, who was a vampire that killed and drank 1000 wolves' blood to gain invincibility. I guess like exposure therapy?? But 1000 years later, he falls in "love" with Gabriel who is unknowingly the descendent of the white wolf that tried to kill him. But lowkey? Why did I kinda fall for this man every time he said he loved Gabriel? I don't know if it's simply fascination or amusement, but whenever he said he loved Gabriel, even moments before his end, I fell for him a little more. He lowkey kinda fine. He looked like Pentakill Karthus when he was in his final form, and he was hot.... I would have liked it if they explored Domingo and Teko's romance a little more. It's clear it was being hinted at. It's a shame they kinda just got rid of Domingo. I guess they want to make it seem like he was only really there to rid himself of guilt and shame? So after everything was set, he finally resigned his place as a priest and escaped? But it's a shame nothing happened with him and Teko.
