Who's Your Daddy?

Complete | Anko,Kyunta | 2019 released

Louis Alexa Metternich (Maetel) Rafayel Wayton Serion Honestly?? There wasn't much going on. I feel like they skipped passed a lot at the end and just ended so abruptly. I'm surprised that they didn't figure out who the serial killer was until it was too late. Seemed like Maetel knew from the beginning, but like, how you gonna keep that a secret?? He fully was just gonna let people keep dying just so he can keep seeing Louis. Why was he even in disguise during the ball??? I'm confused. Either way, I knew as soon as I saw Duke Wayton, nice guys always seem a bit sus. But as soon as they mentioned the detail about the victims looking kinda like Louis, and them mentioning he's such a nice guy and is better than Maetel, I knew he was sus. But either way, the start was boring but I tried to pull through, but the end wasn't too worth it either... I wished the side story was about the baby growing up instead of him just being an accessory for Maetel to be jealous later and not actually mentioning his significance. Louis didn't even get much time with the baby since he was born, and even then we still were robbed of that interaction. Overall, mid

Unfather

Yooo I kinda like the two semes. Kinda psycho but caring too. Yes daddy But I'm kinda disappointed with that ending cus it's so rushed. Nobody gained any clarity, Kyunghee never escaped them both and never got the happiness he wanted for him and his mom. It was unexpected, I'll tell you that. But I wanted a bit more

Hold Me Safe/Holding room

Complete | Mocho | 2019 released

I think the vibe of this manhua is that of a mellow one. It's very deep but also calming if that makes any sense. Im enjoying it because Its getting dark and heavy but the constant back and forth between the uke is also getting kind of annoying. I understand he is going through deep trauma but I kind of hate his attitude. But I still love him! Plus the seme is also very considerate and love, so that's a good combo haha

MEmergence (Metamorphosis)

Complete | ShindoL | 2000 released

What some people reading this don't understand/know, is that this manga was never written with the intention of being an edgy fap material... the author specifically wrote it to display some people's reality because it happens so much in Japan. It wasn't meant to be enjoyable, it was meant to be realistic and to spread awareness. Was it enjoyable? Not really. But in terms of message, it was a good one.

Secret Alliance

Complete | Lero | 2000 released

I can't quite describe how I felt about this manhua. I didn't particularly like anyone, not even Sian near the end. But the developement and concept of this manhua was really interesting and the slow unravelling of things really brought chills. Even after everything that happened, I can't bring myself to hate Yul. Maybe it's because he's pitiful and became obsessive only because Sian was the only person he could depend on and that alone is very sad. Or maybe like people said, maybe its just cus he's pretty lol. But I'm happy that he finally woke up from being delusional and apologised and freed himself from the past and Sian did. This was a good read.

Oshi no Ko

Ongoing | Aka akasaka,Yokoyari mengo | 2019 released

The plot is so interesting, following the reincarnation of an idol's fans that had died and became her children in their next lives. Its follows the revenge plot of Aqua who was murdered by a stalker fan who also killed his mother. It also gives great insight to how harsh the world of being an idol is... I came across the manga after Moonbin's death on the 19th of April 2023, so this hit deep. How fans love to think they know an idol, but they don't know that an idol that they claim is "real" and "authentic" is still lying and hiding something... Moonbin who is seemingly lively, happy and always smiling and comforting, took his own life. We don't know what hardships an idol is going through, yet we pretend to know. We hate on an idol for showing even a little bit of vulnerability and shut them down. But when they're gone, they feign consideration and care... Its so easy for people to say it must be easy being an idol, but they want to drown in their own self pity and invalidate other people's struggles. There's so much to being an idol. The more years go by, the standards get higher and more grueling.

Cry Me a River

Ongoing | Majjip | 2000 released

I'm sure we can all agree that we have no fucking clue what the plot is anymore but we love the fucking. Jitae seems to like Mieun from his younger years but Mieun doesn't quite remember because he lost his memory?? But he thinks the person in his memory is the person that he has the name tag for. But it's actually the dude with the blonde hair (and it's a dude???). The older brother Jian likes but also hates Jitae because he's doted on as the legitimate son eventhough he's older. BUT HES A HOT BOTTOM. sheeeeeeesh Either way, I'm not here for the plot. Just the cute and steamy sex...
