When The Yakuza Falls Inlove

Ongoing | Murimi,dupal | 2019 released

Caught up to chapter 67 currently, the official translations are being uploaded so will come back until then. But so far... I'm really loving all the characters. Like Totally Captivated, it shows the yakuza as not simply threatening and violent (though they are), they truly have a sense of family and companionship. They care for Minjun a lot and they're really respect each other. Also they're really cute when they fawn over Toma. Kenta is such a cool dude. He is so loyal but will always stand by Toma and Minjun. He's not JUST Daiki's follower/assistant, but a true friend to Toma and Minjun, hence they can rely on him. Although he looks stern, he has his soft and clumsy moments and I like him a lot. I usually don't go for his type, but I like him a lot as a character. Sho ahjussi is a very funny man, looks like a fool and doesn't seem serious at all, but is secretly powerful and always has his eyes peeled. What a double edged sword. Characters like Itsuki, Hakuto and the cook (I really forgot his name just now....) are also really friendly presences that keeps this manhua uplifting. It's a shame that the guy from the first few chapters didn't have much of a presence since. They literally introduced him in the manhua eventhough he wasn't in the novel, just to give him nothing... so why introduce him?? He was supposed to be a nice and frigid guy who turns out to be a player. He develops a crush/interest in Minjun and was about to coerce him into having sex, but nothing afterwards. It just felt try on his end. Bit of a shame... but its still a great manhua. I'm waiting for Taichi to show his douchiness because I still haven't seen it. It seems he cares a lot about Daiki and his loved ones, and seems to be a nice uncle, tho a bit creepy...

If You Treat Me Nice, We Can Do It

Complete | Megumi Kitano | 2000 released

Short and sweet but also heartbreaking. To have an unrequited love for someone also with an unrequited love for a straight guy. They have something very special and they didn't want to ruin the dynamic, but in turn the two with the unrequited love suffered for 10 years. Ryuji is a sweetie fr. To stand beside Aki for so long, watching him crushing on someone else while you remained a replacement for Keigo. TT_TT I can't well if Aki was feeling body dystopia, or simply wanted to be a woman so that he can become Keigo's lover, but I'm glad Ryuji is there to affirm him no matter what...
