Something about the characters don't match their appearance. Kou's appearance says he's a wannabe delinquent with the slicked back hair and the piercings, but he's secretly shy.. But he literally is just shy and cowardly. I feel like Mihiro is more suited to be an uke, so I don't really ship em either. I really like Taiga and Masahiro as a pairing, but then that creepy teacher always has to get involved UGH. There's too many characters with too many things going on Kou likes Mihiro Mihiro likes Kou Masahiro likes Kou (use to) Taiga likes Mihiro (use to) Now Taiga likes Masahiro? I love this story so much. It's kind of bitter sweet But ends on a really good note. I like Yayoi is a character, he's very chilled but caring. I literally bawl every time I read the extra about the cat. It's so heart breaking but also heart warming. I love this authors works

Now that was the definition of bitter sweet... the remnants of PAIN is still lingering eventhough it ended on a good note. The execution of the deep cut parts were done well. When Rin and Taiga were talking in bed about how they should repeat eachothers names so that they wouldn't forget and just in case Rin does, then transitioning to him saying "who are you". That was hard hitting. I actually don't mind Taiga that much considering he tried to rape Yuka, because he's changed, has repented and loves Rin only. He's suffered a lot too and I kind of admire him for that. I think he was the more LIKABLE character out or all of them...
