A Fortune-Telling Princess

Ongoing | 사이딘 | 2022 released

Characters: Camilla Lila Duke Sephrol Ludville Ravi Arsian Redhead nobody cares about I'm really enjoying the story. They sometimes skip over details or just add random stuff for the moment then forget about it later, but it's genuinely a really good story. I really love Camilla as a heroine because she's not naive. She was a working woman in the acting industry who worked her way up top and endured the hatred in the industry. I think it's nice that she uses her skills from her other life to survive in this world. She's very competent and doesn't like to think she's helping people, but she's very understanding of others. I'm really happy that she's befriended Lila, who is supposed to be the actual heroine, instead of it being a story about them going at eachothers throats. Obviously I like Ludville and Ravi. They're great brothers who don't want to make it obvious that they want to be doted on by Camilla, they're both not very open people in different senses, but they care for Camilla as her brothers. Ravi is someone who constantly has low self esteem, so Camilla always looking out for him just so he doesn't spiral, is so sweet. The most recent incident where he spiraled was after the hunting competition where he wanted to heal Camilla who was hurt, but got pushed away by Arsian, claiming he will heal her quicker and better (obviously he's just in love and wanted to tend to her faster) but Ravi took it as a claim that he's useless and won't be able to save Camilla in time. Camilla doesn't know this detail, but she later tries to calm him by saying he's helped and saved her plenty, and that he's more than capable. That was the only thing that made him stop hauling himself indoors. But that's very wholesome... I like Arsian, who seemed like a real tease and aloof, but secretly likes Camilla a lot. He's always protective of her, but they can act casual around one another. I suppose he will be end-game, which is good (I don't assume she'll and up with Ludville.... cus that would be messy....). And nobody cared for that Redhead from house Javelin. He wants to pretend he's very important, but he's always on the sidelines... he wants to pretend he's still Camilla's interest, and now sorts for her attention because now she isn't giving him any, which is low af. I'm glad Camilla isn't giving him the time of day. His ego is even higher than the two guys who should have the highest ego (Ludville and Arsian), when he's literally so insignificant. THIS IS WHY I DONT LIKE OVERLY NICE GUYS IN MANHUA, CUS THERES ALWAYS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THEM. It's like professor Xavi all over again. Overly nice guys stink. But anyways, a lovely story. Truly a good read. It's a shame that the translating team changed, but it's still very enjoyable.

The Invicible Princess Is Bored Again Today

Ongoing | | 2019 released

Characters: Helena Caesar Leonardo Noe Yulica Empress Dowager It was so good with so much potential, but it's a shame that a lot of points were skipped over. Probably from lack of time?? I know someone also said the author is sick, but it's unfortunate.. I really like Helena as a heroine. She was a completely different type of ruler in her time, but was reborn to live a life she couldn't enjoy previously, but she uses her past experience to work her way through this lifetime. But I'm a little disappointed that we couldn't see too much of her prowess, other than during the extermination mission and I guess during their sparring. And I'm annoyed that they didn't touch upon how she was suddenly reborn. She never told anyone??? And why keep mentioning that she liked Erez but not elaborate more? Clearly they had something going on, but I had hoped this would be a point to be mentioned in the currently timeline. Caesar is kinda.. just there?? He ended up being a pretty boring man after he got crowned. He didn't have much opportunity to shine after that. It just seemed like after he was crowned, he became a useless doll of a character. How was he just gonna fully marry Yulica without questioning Helena, nothing. They made it seem like Helena and Caesar had been separated for a while, but it was resolved in the span of two chapters. It left no room for there to be tension. It just solved itself so quickly. And how did he manage to heal from the poison? If it was so easy to heal from it, why did he just let it fester until after they caught the dowager? He's just meh. I hold no qualms with Leonardo. He's just a really cool doting brother. I wish there was more about him after he grew up, rather than just mentioning him randomly rising in ranks. I wanna see a future for him.. I really thought there would be more to Yulica. I know she was naive and easily taken advantage of and is in constant pressure because she's the crown princess to be, but they also kept mentioning how she's learning magic. I was hoping that they would use her knowledge for the final fight or something; but literally there was nothing. She really did end up being just naive and silly... when she desperately wanted to speak to Helena (before being interrupted by the fact the tea was poisoned) I would have hoped she had found out really important information about Noe or something, but we never touched upon that. And although she was free in the end and got disowned by her family, I had hoped there was something more. But no. How is the final fight gonna be over in a few pages after it was built up so much. The dragon. Noe appearing. The Empress Dowager working with Noe. Helena shot one arrow and it all ended like that. Who was that subconscious? Why did Helena feel the need to kill it? Was it meant to be a trip created by the dark magic- that if she takes on this other power, she'll succum to evil? But it was never elaborated. It literally ended then and there. Also, how did the King just die suddenly? It was never mentioned how he died? Did the Empress Dowager kill him? But that wouldn't have done anything for her position. Did he literally just die suddenly? Why did Noe keep hostage of Dante's body when they didn't even use it to summon the dragon in the end?? It would make sense of Dante was sacrificed rather than a random person because she's claimed to have sealed the dragon inside her body. Why did he resurrect Dante afterwards? Why was he searching for Helena? His character was built up so much only for him to die so quickly after killing Empress Dowager... There's too many questions and it's so disappointing that they'll never be answered....

I Found a Husband When I Picked Up the Male Lead

Ongoing | 초암,서촌 | 2019 released

Characters: Lizelle Lapellion Chester I really love Lizelle. She's so strong and full of love to give. She's a bit dense in terms of Chester's feelings but I love that she's always got other people's best interest in mind.. she cares for Lapel so much. They're very cute together. Also there's so many delulu girls for Chester. Das crazy. But tbf the blonde girl is only wanting to marry a Duke, I don't think she actually likes Chester
