three stars, isn't necessarily bad, just interesting enough to keep my attention but not too much interest/hype edit: finally continued reading and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed. my initial review at ch15 was simply too early to make a judgement. at ch45 im enjoying the sweetness a lot!

easily one of the best historical series i've read so far. includes a very tactical, mature female lead that is unlike many more brash, hard-headed main characters. she's very passionate and caring for her profession, both kind and considerate. her relationship with linden is beyond perfect in its execution. not quite the focus of the series at ch40 but definitely enough to make me sometimes smile really wide. five☆ is not enough at all. simply amazing edit: ch110 and I love this just as much as I did the first time I read it. it only got better and better! I hope they resolve the conflict between linden and mil soon because I just want more of this fluff ×^×

like im split between three and four. it's honestly such a strange thing. yandere selfcest like uhhh??? it wouldve been okay if the guy was the main lead but i dont think he is so it just feels... unnecessarily awkward. overall there was a lot i enjoyed but an equal amount that just... no

legitimately terrible. was promising for approximately 5 minutes before the male lead randomly fell in love cause omg look at that i see a girl and i go!!!! whaaa!!!???
