three stars, isn't necessarily bad, just interesting enough to keep my attention but not too much interest/hype edit: finally continued reading and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed. my initial review at ch15 was simply too early to make a judgement. at ch45 im enjoying the sweetness a lot!

mixed opinions. on one hand my inner fangirl squeals over the overprotectiveness of some of the guys in the series, but the other just sees them and the female lead as completely and utterly ridiculous. she's extremely manipulative, faking kindness and treating her family horribly even after they have shown that they're changing. she expects them to suddenly demand equal rights which, in a society where change like that isn't possible just with a snap of fingers, is nothing short of idiocy. not to underplay their shitty actions too, obviously, but at least it makes logical sense given their upbringing. she speaks about how she's "going to make a change!" but over 130 chapters in and we've yet to see her do anything. i won't lie; i love the helpless heroine and knight-in-shining armour trope far more than most people, but even i found these two leads incredibly unappealing. like i don't care about jinsu at all, he isn't even particularly good looking! was good enough to keep me interested and despite the criticisms, i did enjoy it. more as a "i hate it but i love it" sort of way which made me give it three☆, but still a three☆ nonetheless. will probably read more if released, but currently just feeling "eh" about it. still remain conflicted about my feelings towards this series

really heartwarming family manga, not outstanding but definitely sweet!!
