Starting With a Lie
This is my second time reading this and I absolutely love it— I love how the female characters weren’t bitchy or toxic like most mangas or manhwas make them—I absolutely adore the art style and colors— I love the friends to lovers concept and I know some people will riot over no smut scenes but I think its perfect. I have to say this is my new favorite manga. I also will be reading more from this author.

If you want to read this, come with an open mind. I’ve seen people review this with “DONT READ!! its crap and they’re both red flags” but I have to disagree. While the characters are DEFINITELY not perfect (borderline psychotic), to dismiss a manga as unreadable and bad because the characters are toxic is stupid. IT IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. My personal review is that I DID enjoy reading it while being conscious that this isn’t just a “bl manga” but a story about psychological torture that is filled with angst. I would simply recommend being aware of that.
