The novel was fine but the manhwa make it inclredible. Thank you so much to the illustrator for the lots of fanservice. I can't wait to see some scenes hehehehe....anyway, let's drop some spoilers while I still remember some things. . . . . . . . . . . . I stopped when it reached a hundred chapters something. Roughly from what I remembered, the water got polluted by the dye process that the workshop used for their textiles and the water from that flows to MC's territory so it's not just MC but everyone there got the headache. It was planned to blackmail MC's father into giving the bad noble that territory. MC decided to build a construction that can bring water to the populace. The people of his territory all helped. It worked and they got clean water. So the blackmail failed. However. The works that was done during the construction made the soil composition in the water change. It won't affect human and livestock if consumed but it crippled the textile industry of the bad noble because the water messed up the dye. So MC instead made the bad noble have to get him for the water and pay a good sum for it since to wait for the water to be fine again would take years. MC went to a higher noble's place to sell the things he got from before. There he found out the noble is trying to erect a statue in the middle of the sea but it's impossible because they can't work there. It's coz their shore has problems where a huge monster would sometimes attack the ships so they can't have ports and ships. The noble wants a mermaid statue as mermaid is the monster's natural enemy and it must be in the sea far from land so the monster would be afraid to attack. MC offered to make it. When it's done, the noble wanted to have a party on ships to celebrate it but instead of being afraid of the statue, the monster viewed it like a challenge and proceeded to attack the mermaid statue along with the ships around it. Due to MC and knight's quick actions the ships got away and MC's summons helped those who didn't. The monster wasn't satisfied with just destroying the statue, part of the statue flew to shore and it attacked land too. Knight decided to fight it while MC didn't want to. Knight wasn't strong enough, MC stepped in but at the same time he overworked his Manaheart. They won but MC's heart stopped beating, or something like that. The people were happy they were saved, even the monster that had been wrecking their place was dead but they all prayed and wished that the hero would wake up and be safe. MC should have been dead but he's not dead. Forgot what happened, either his heart stopped beating but he's still breathing or the other way around. The doctors can't diagnosed him. One day he woke up. Mom and Dad also arrived. The moment they heard about MC in danger they dropped everything and rode there with minimum luggage and necessities. MC was gonna receive appreciation from the King. He went there and the castle was shaped weirdly, due to some problem in the past where dragon was said to hang on castle, the castle was build like a dome I think. The King asked what MC see is the problem with his city and what he should do about it. MC answered it's the bridge that always collapsed every century so he's gonna fix it so that it won't ever collapse again. As compensation he wants his family's nobility to be guaranteed for as long as the bridge is upright. Later King and his aide talked and the correct answer was supposed to be the castle and the King wanted him to fix the castle. MC gave the wrong answer but even if it's the wrong answer it is still the correct answer. Meanwhile MC met the brother, his Mom told him to send things and eat with his brother but while eating he found out his brother was bullied. Brother didn't like MC, the original guy was a drunkard and he also beat up brother before. MC was gonna ignore it and let brother man up but instead he beat up the bully but it's not gonna end there when he's gone esp with the teachers just watching and ignoring it. MC took his brother out on academic leave. He made his brother helped him with the construction and brother saw how MC is different. MC made a....suspension bridge I think. Everyone was surprised coz it looked like a cloth line and the line is made from metal. Using his summons, MC connected the lines from one to one end and finished setting up the bridge. The King acknowledged his construction and a party was held. Before he can relax, the MC heard a line that should've appeared in the novel two years later. It was a secret code to the king's assassination. The King was a laid-back person (MTL, so I'm not sure the gender whether is man or woman) and was not against humoring his subject but after the assassination attempt in the novel where he's betrayed by his trusted aide, he became a tyrant. MC didn't want this coz it might endanger him and his fam if King became a tyrant so while entertaining some chit chat he and knight slowly remove themselves from the banquet hall and went to find King. The King was already poisoned and was about to be attacked by his aide who's a Swordmaster. Knight armed with a candle stick engaged him but he's not a Swordmaster yet. MC went to the King and proceeded to absorb the poison from the King. Knight used the King's sword and engaged the traitor away from MC and King. Traitor manipulated the event and claimed MC and knight as traitors who wants to kill the King so the soldiers aka his subordinates would attack Knight instead. Knight was already insecured because the last fight with the monster he failed his Master. This time he was gonna buy time for MC so he can do what he needs to do. MC absorbed the King's poison, something that's unheard of. King was surprised but it was not the time to discuss it. MC told him he was gonna absorb the poison and let it out from his body, then he's gonna go help knight fight swordmaster. After absorbing the poison he tried to let it out but he couldn't. His mana circles are failing. King told him to concentrate the poison in one area of his body so he can cut it off but MC don't want, he remembered this is how King survived by cutting off his own hand in the novel and became a tyrant. He finally let it out but his mana was depleted and started absorbing from the surrounding. The nearest mana source is the King so time to pay your debt lol King got his mana sucked so much but since he's also a powerful guy without the poison he was able to survive the mana absorption. MC woke up and went to help knight but knight already won even if it was in a sorry state. King cleared up the traitors and MC and knight became heroes. King wanted knight to serve him but knight refused since he only serves his Master. MC and knight talked in a few words about knight becoming sword master, the goal that he's supposed to achieve in a year but already reached. Brother flipped out coz that achievement isn't something that's supposed to be talked about like asking for a meal. Sometime during MC and King audience after bridge is constructed, MC told King about how the academy King is sponsoring is dirty and corrupted. Before MC died when he was in school he was bullied too. He fought back and the other kid got off easy. Then the others started gathering and more evidents are found. Media and police got involved and the school had to do something about it because it became serious. So MC taking his brother out of the academy, isn't him retreating but because he was waiting. Until he can tattled to the top of the hierarchy. That's it. I only read until 100 something. The novel has around 400 chapters. I'm not reading it yet since I'm reading something else. I don't want to go back and fix things, so suffer the typoes and weird English, not my main language.
