rating is only based on smut, the story was pretty lacking tbh.

Couldn’t actually get into but I did skim through it and it is actually a decent story with relates back to actual circumstances in life. A good read for those who can become invested in it; sadly it misses a grabber so you can easily lose interest.

i regret avoiding this, it’s so funny and actually fascinating. It’s crazy to think that your culture/societal norms can actually be embarrassing in other cultures. Especially like the most basic of basic things!

It’s it crazy how his rules/principles were suppose to protect him but also limited him from finding happiness & love sooner. A great play, and reflects well on the struggle of many LGBTQ+ people. Sensei doesn’t disappoint in any of her works!

poorly executed

THIS. IS. AMAZING. It’s a good representation of how rape can affect someone and the trauma, damage, and repercussions it causes for not ONLY the victim but also people around that individual. It also doesn’t make the rape scene look smutty it shows you the raw truth; it’s ugly, nasty, and disgusting. Thank you for this. Update (2025): Middle school me was so fucking dumb. This was not a good representation of rape. How does a traumatic incident become the catalyst for you now wanting sex. Also I hate the whole “I was waiting for you.” trope, shit is so fucking gross in my opinion! Then the ugly art, sorry, had to remove the beautiful art tag. However, I will say the actual scene (which i now personally skipped) was still rather explicit despite the author making a more conscious effort to represent impairment and then ofc the horrific act, so while the scene wasn’t made to be sexualized or used as smut it is rather graphic— i don’t think that’s necessary and gets points off in my book.
