honestly it was pretty good the ending was tbh pretty abrupt but otherwise pretty solid

surprisingly way better than i expected plot: mc (birth name chloe, royal name beatrice) was a vet who died and got reborn as a slave. when she was 23 she got picked up by a king bc hes the illegitimate daughter who doesnt resemble the royal family. she got basically sold off to a noble to marry instead of the kings other two daughters. ml (alexandro, ailen/allen, arch duke, son of the emperor) takes over the country to form an empire. he is sick of his father tryna get him to marry so he basically spreads gay rumours. mc cuts off her hair to pass as a boy and gets involved with a doctor. thru him he treats mls sick horse and saves it and then is made his personal maid for some 1y long celebration trip. they grow closer and ml finds out mc is the princess but she doesnt know. they grow feelings for the other but originally mc thinks hes gay. also mc has a friend (trigger) who tells her hes gay and ml gets jealous (doesnt know trigger is gay). mc thinks he wants trigger to himself n misunderstanding and then they kiss. its a bit awkward after that. trigger proposes to mc for a convenience marriage, she accepts but then she gets together with ml and keeps missing the chances to tell trigger to break it off. also shes scared of mls father finding out. ml found out n now theyre beefing
