Hanakoi Tsurane
amazing!!! I like the way the story still keeps interesting when the couple confesses to each other. It's my first time reading a kabuki manga, the scenes are creative and cute. It's a perfect timing, there's no hurry nor too much lag. The two of them resembles the personality of my two favorites manga boys, but at the same time it's unique and new. There's no need to create a problematic past or a problematic present between them. I understand the need to hide themselves for being actors in Japan, but they're so naive sometimes about it, that it doesn't sound suffocating and impossible. I love it.
Banana Fish
I need to talk about this work. Of course it's my favourite, everyone knows it after reading it. I watched the anime and it was ok, it didn't fascinate me. After his death, I was curious to know if something happened, what Eiji would do, or if that estrategy-kiss was the only kiss they gave, so I read it. And holy shit, I felt Ash's pain from the bottom of my heart, I felt everything. I learned the rest about empathy I couldn't learn before. It made me cry so many times, I wanted to scream because at the end of the story that I took one week or so to read, I matured ten years. It was like I had experienced all the bad in the world at one time, and Ash was alive to fight it. It wasn't his destiny, he never wanted to kill anyone, or to involve so many people. He was in the battles front avoiding a massive destruction, and the person leading him to continue was Eiji. I had another view and another thought about love. Ash believed him and Eiji couldn't be together because Eiji would be in so much danger if they would. Ash wanted him to go back to Japan, but at the same time, he needed him close. Eiji was his last hope. He lost everyone he loved, his bestfriend, his right hand man, his brother, his father, and to avoid losing the one he loved the most, ant the one who last, he risked his life. He let his guard down and was gone after experiencing a fraction of the good in life. Ash could have lived and could have understood the feeling of being woken up by Eiji without worrying 10 minutes later about his well-being. I will never forget the pain I felt. Aslan Jade Callereense will always be in my heart. He was 18 but... he damn lived. Thanks, Akimi Yoshida, for this masterpiece.
Close the Last Door
I guess it was the second manga I read, after Into Your Heart Through The Door, the Honda's brothers story. Just like the latter, I read it twice (I could have read it many more times, but I wait a few months to forget some scenes and come back). I could use capslock to express my feelings about this one here. Oh, I watched the OVA three or four times, as well. It's my favorite work from Yugi and what a masterpiece it is. I already made a big text about it before so there's no need to say it here... I guess it's been almost a year since I read it the last time so I'm reading it again. Nagai it's the copy of my best mood so he's my favorite manga boy, and of course, the funniest couple ever it's him and Kenzou (I wish he was real so he could be my bestfriend).
Window to Window
Beautiful art, they're really cute. I don't like when Yubin tells Ginu to stop and he doesn't do it as he is told to. I don't like when Ginu lies to him that he put a condom on as well. That's why I'm giving four stars (reread).
Room to Room
Came here 'cause their relationship in Window to Window made me more anxious than the principal couple. I was not sure about the sexsomnia thing... I am really annoying about those things so I had to convince myself it wasn't a big deal to finish the reading. Aside that, it's perfect.
A Guy Like You
Walk on Water
The first season was perfect. The second one is making me hesitate... Mcqueen was so reserved and quiet, and suddenly he confesses to him from nowhere. I don't know..
Into Your Heart Through The Door
My first manga, I guess. My parents are cousins, so I read it with so much empathy... I felt it and sympathized. At first, I found it by mistake searching for Close the last door. These two are masterpieces. I absolutely love Yugi and the doors series.
