Bitten By Moonlight
okay bull there's no way this is completed. in addition to the tbc on the last page, this is set up too much to just end here.
Define The Relationship
awww i like this. really checks the box on one of my fav tropes: gloomy and shy uke who's always inside his head w/ golden retriever warm seme. what makes this different is the clear consent check they have, at least w/ the first encounter. plus, I always prefer the MC BOTH actually look like men. Them being beefcake is a nice bonus so far very its very sweet post 85: 5>4.75 I do still like it but the story definitely gets drawn out a bit too much, especially post breakup. the MCs switch from uncertainty to feeling secure about their feelings does feel too quick. also a lot of things in the story don't feel like they needed to be added -this being the omegaverse means nothing. the story could still carry on with the typical Korean trope of class and the uke needing to marry -uke gets engaged but then all of a sudden it gets called off?? -the uke also an alpha means nothing. -their first kiss in the beginning is completely irrelevant to the story's development. and when it finally gets addressed I feels like its added just to tie a loose end honestly the contract dating and the uke coming from a upperclass status and has the typical trope of "responsibilities" preventing him from pursuing the seme is a simple enough plot. everything else is unnecessary fluff. id still reread but dang
The Pizza Delivery Man and The Gold Palace
Back to School
Ohhhhh I feel so conflicted this. I hate love triangles in general. The main seme is kinda unbearably clingy. I also feel like it’s hard to root for the MC getting together because it focuses more on the second dude and I empathize with him way more. I do like how the mangaka writes about how the uke and second dudes relationship was toxic and ended their story cleanly. (at least for now)
Back to School: All Grown Up
3.5 Ugh the side story feels so wrong! Tan man is so attractive but I can’t enjoy the h scenes with chiwoo. Even if it’s a parallel universe. I appreciate that the author also confesses she had a hard time making the scenes
Rivalry
Awwwww I really like this. Originally I didn't care too much with the story: the uke was annoyingly clingy and the seme is your cliche hot stoic macho man. The later on it turns out that he's actually so adorable. I really like how the story goes through the direction of tackling difficult communication with someone who doesn't understand empathy and struggles to understand emotions. It makes a cliche yaoi into something sweet. Ultimately both semes are so heartbreakingly adorable.
Love Jinx
Also why do they always have to be a celebrity s in Korea? Yum but I want it to be more twisted. Also a bit too melodramatic per typical k drama smh
Dead man Switch
