Kanashii Kotoba
3.75 Engaging and tragic love story. It had the perfect amount of drama. However, while the story's concept was good, the manga could definitely had been more polished and refined because the manga offen seemed kinda confusing. This also didn't make me feel as empathetic as I thought I was going to be. But maybe the art also took part in my issue with this because I wasn't the biggest fan of the art. Maybe I'll reread it.
Cut
Eh. It wanted to be twisted and dark but I just wasn't feeling it.
Yami Bl
I don't mind this. It's fucked up but not satisfying enough.
Koukyuu No Arika
Not bad. Didn't reach it's full potential even though it was setting up to be a decent read. Might reread. idk. I'm not a fan of this mangaka's art but meh.
Everyday Smile
chapter 1: AWWW SO BEAUTIFUL. An abuse victim uke who desperately needs love + wholeheartedly good seme + adorable baby + angst = LOVE chapter 2: huh the uke is oddly enough kind of an innocent yandere. He's possessive but somehow innocent? I guess needy is the right term.
3-pun Instant no Chinmoku
At first glance of the first chapter, this manga easily could have went the typical two/three chapter route about an incestuous unrequited love that would lead to some small misunderstanding (rape possibly included), followed by a rushed and unconvincingly conclusion that the feelings are mutual, and the older brother's woman phobia would be completely glossed over. However, as it progresses, this story surprisingly gets pretty dark, sad, and complicated with a lot of character development. Their feelings seem geninuely real and all you want is for them (particularly the older brother) to be happy. On a side note the older brother is so fragile and damaged and adorable how the fuck could you not instantly fall for him and want to protect him from literally everything???
Fingertip's Love
Aw this is adorable and romantic as hell.
