Ughhhhh this was so frustrating. The historical aspect of the story was interesting but IDK I feel like the author thought that this was smarter and More nuanced than it actually was. The story tries to make it seem like the ml is complicated and egotistical but IDK He's pretty simple. the mc is needy and pathetic and the ml is so full of shit and irritating. Maybe that's why they belong together LOL.
The ml the finally chasing the mc was a bit satisfying but not enough. Honestly I don't I don't understand why people say this is a masterpiece. It still has the same manhwa tropes. I didn't find a particularly engaging.
Still I was semi interested and I do like the epilogue, which I usually think is pointless in a manhwa bl.
H scenes could also get pretty hot
I would maybe reread again just just for the ending.
Bj Alex. Vibes but honestly this story is actually worse
I liked the whole distrust thing, especially with MCs trauma but I don't think the story delved into that enough. Or at least in a thoughtful way.
