Refreshing manga. Both the uke and seme are equally stubborn but I feel thats what makes their feelings for each seem genuine. Clear character development, especially with the uke who not only learns about the lengths he will go to protect his family and the hotel, but also discovers his true feelings for the seme. My only issue was the ending; while I like how they end up together and the whole rain scene was hella romantic, it felt somewhat rushed and not completely satisfying. 20240505 5>3.75 ehhhhhh idk why I really liked this. It's pretty drawn out. The uke is really unlikable and tsundere but needy. The seme It's so frustratingly hot and cold. I have no idea why either of them fell for each other. Plus maybe this is just the Japanese thing but the casualness of joking the seme seems is into "shota" is really uncomfortable.

Uggggh it was getting so good! The first 6 chapters basically make up my ideal unrequited love story: step-brothers that both have feelings for each other but both think its one-sided (lawlz as if). The art is just decent and the story is pretty typical and fluffy but the sexual tension is subtle but really tugs the heart strings. AND ALL OF THAT AND FOR WHAT?! A CRAPPY HALF-ASSED NOT-REALLY-A-CONFESSION CONFESSION? UGGGHHHH IT WAS SO CLOSE TO BECOMING A FAVORITE BUT OF COURSE IT HAD TO GET RUINED. NO SCENE WHERE ONE CONFESSES TO THE OTHER AND THE OTHER IS IN COMPLETE DISBELIEF? MANGAKA SHOULD REALLY TAKE SOME NOTES FROM HEY CLASS PRESIDENT OR SOMETHING.

Chapter 1: UGHHHH OH MY GOD THAT BUILD UP. THE GAY INSECURE UKE WITH UNREQUITED FEELINGS FOR THE SEME BUT TURNS OUT TO BE SOMETHING MORE CHAPTER 2: OH MY GOD ITS BASICALLY LIKE Kaeru no Prince-sama!!!!! DAMMIT WHY ISNT THERE MORE! CHAPTER 3-5: did love it as much as the first story but still really liked it. Dammit there needs be more. GOD DAMMIT THIS MANGAKA ALWAYS ENDS IT JUST WHEN THINGS ARE ABOUT TO GET GOOD. MOOEEEEE. Reread first story: 4.5 YESSSSSSSS

I mean ehhhh... I couldn't finish it because it was so blah. Concept was good (the struggles of being openly gay and working in education) but the uke was so damn unlikeable. No emotional attachment whatsoever.
