I understand his rare blood condition but instead of getting angry because he uses a knife, the seme could just teach him how to use one. That way he'd avoid big cuts. It would be a problem if he need blood transfusion. It's not like he'd need one each time he's ill or hurt. So the drama and thus the plot is just one big drama over nothing it's ridiculous.
