Yu continues to state; initially he did not want to acknowledge his feelings for Yamada, thus Yu tried to keep it all buried. But with the arrival of Yamada’s childhood friend Michiru, Yu decided to just be friends with Yamada instead of their usual fwb relationship, in the hopes that his own feelings for Yamada would be cleared out, and things would start making sense. But it only confused Yu more, as he grew frustrated and jealous at Yamada and Michiru’s friendship and closeness. Yu states that the moment Yamada left, everything up until then came flooding back to him at once. All his feelings, all the memories they shared, everything. Yu knew, if he didnt chase after Yamada then, he would regret it forever. And if he were to run after Yamada, then he had to make a decision now on his feelings. hyunwoo and the jerk were once childhood friends and the jerk liked him a lot and wanted to marry him bc hyunwoo’s house was basically his safe space from his strict house and father who always made him study (resulted in his bad insomnia). but when he was at hyunwoo’s house he would feel loved, at peace, and able to sleep. he loved hyunwoo dearly. but then hyunwoo and his fam went on vacay.. they got in a really bad accident and hyunwoo’s parents died. he got amnesia and forgot who he his parents were, who he was, and his entire life. he was taken in by a woman and guy who claimed to be his mom and bro. The jerk, unaware of all this, was anticipating when they would come back. After 2 weeks he came to visit them but they werent there (bc of accident). So he was confused and was finally told that the family got in an accident while on vacay. However, he was told that they ALL died.. So he went on the rest of his life mourning and missing his bff and first love and the family that he had. years go by. Obv, hyunwoo is still alive. He now has chronic fainting whenever he gets stressed due to the accident, and gets carsick easily. obv jerk has no idea that his hyunwoo is still alive.
