NOTE TO SELFCHAPTER 63 My Theory: Our cold mc Mr. Hmph and Examiner 001 are quite a unique pair. They both are amnesiacs who don't remember their past and yet both find joy in quarreling with one another. Currently, they both live on as examiner and examinee while butting heads. However, I have a theory. With the information we were given, and the visual aids provided, I think it's safe to assume a few things: - Mr. Hmph and 001 knew each other before they lost their memories due to a "system error" - Mr. Hmph was Examiner A, the top-ranked examiner prior to the "error" - 001 was previously the "troublemaking examinee" and Mr. Hmph was our Examiner. And with given information like: - Prior to the "error", 001 and Mr. Hmph often fought (with 001 as examinee and Mr. Hmph examiner) ^ This is a reflection of the current situation except the roles are reversed. (At least that is my premonition based on the given information) - Certain roles in which examiners CANNOT break - Albeit being such an out of place rule, it was one of the few mentioned by the 2 examiners in the first exam. "examiners and examinees are prohibited from entering an intimate relationship" Thus, my conclusion is that this "system error" was caused by an examiner/examinee love tryst that was found out and shot down by permanently clearing any and all evidence. Though this also brings up why they weren't just completely removed from the system. ANOTHER THEORYYY. I believe since the two were like a power couple, with them both being #1 examiner AND examinee and all, the system couldn't get rid of them for the sake of keeping gems.
