There is a bittersweet undertone. It was a worthy read nonetheless. The girl is nosy, adorable, sassy and quite the mother hen. She is strong. ML is a lazy, alcoholic, insomniac, grump. He had depression. This is a story of healing. The focus is not romance. The other characters recieved character development as well. They seem human? Idk how to explain

Dukexmage Mc is a hot pepper. Ml...hmmm... I want to strip him, bend him over and play with him. He invokes those kinda feelings in me it seems

It's not bad. Strong MC. Broken ML. Initially I thought antagonist was boring. I guess she isn't that bad, just v ambitious but foolish. I guess it's similar to abandoned empress. This one will be one of those reads that you either like or just hate.

Badass female lead that is on path for redemption and healing. This is not your typical manhwa in which the main character start losing their intellect and independence after meeting a man. Kasia ended up being badass till the end. In fact I have developed a little girl crush on her <3. The female characters weren't bitches and they were all really cute. That's rare since a lotta manhwa have a habit of pitting females against each other. Male characters weren't ignorant and arrogant assholes. There were dimensions to them too. Overall, it's a satisfying read with a well planned plot.
