Last read ch42. Omg this is so sad. Fl and ml I think could’ve developed to mutual love but dude to misunderstanding at the early stage, it became a surface relationship :’((((( he thinks he’s only “the best choice” since she keeps referring him as such and she thinks he only chose her to get away from marrying a princess. And a whole lot of other misunderstandings contribute to them thinking such, but ml actually love her a lot :((((((( idk if he lost hope yet but he still cares for her a lot.. sigh, he didn’t really act right... she was ignored (when she needed someone, he downplayed/wasn’t able to stay with her) and ignored of her opinions by everyone - her ideas and such, there was no place for her to speak since they excluded her based in her family background that was in a faction (while ml family was a neutral one before, but ml risked it all for her and she doesn’t even know, and they’ve been targeted since :( also, fl was poisoned in last life, a gradual slow poisoning.
