Complete | Ohana | 2000 released

Gorgeous art, storyline is tinged with sadness and made me feel melancholy because the thing that always gets me and makes me feel that way is lost memories. The thought of it always makes me feel an aching emptiness. It's a good story, although it was at times kind of confusing. I can't help but feel sad still :'c it was so so sweet and gentle and yet tragic even though technically a happy ending ? there's a sequel I will go read now. sorry for being repetitive

At the End of the Road

Complete | Haribo | 2016 released

I forgot I read this. it wasn't my favorite, mainly because the twin brother is such a fucking asshole it made me want to pull my hair out the entire time I was reading. he made me so mad FUCK. I just felt seriously sad for the nice twin's life and couldn't really enjoy the story, which was dark and sad anyway. it's not a bad manga, and I'd actually recommend it, but I had a lot of negative feelings

The Beast Must Die

Complete | Lee hyeon sook | 2019 released

It's dark, that's for sure, but I can literally write an essay dissecting this manga. I think there are elements that are super realistic in there- I don't think this is a spoiler or a surprise but the 2 main characters end up having sex, and the uke, who is straight, experiences disgust and then after, strong hatred and a feeling of emancipation. I really liked that part because I feel like it's so much more of a true reaction than manga that has the uke be done in the ass for the first time, enjoy it immensely and then decide he's in love. I wouldn't say I'm generally a fan of twisted and psychological mangas, but I've read a few and this is the one I would recommend if I had to choose one. Really good.
