alice-chan's manga / #Sad(7)

Complete | Ohana | 2000 released

Gorgeous art, storyline is tinged with sadness and made me feel melancholy because the thing that always gets me and makes me feel that way is lost memories. The thought of it always makes me feel an aching emptiness. It's a good story, although it was at times kind of confusing. I can't help but feel sad still :'c it was so so sweet and gentle and yet tragic even though technically a happy ending ? there's a sequel I will go read now. sorry for being repetitive

Paradise View

Complete | kojima lalako | 2013 released

Sequel to "Kimi no Parade" which I ONLY FOUND OUT AFTER FINISHING THIS STORY. I fucking bawled my eyes out, my heart was broken and I'm an emotional mess right now. the last chapter was really the final blow. but I will still reread this in the future, fully prepared to be destroyed again, because that's how beautiful this story was. It was heart-wrenchingly real, raw, emotional and had so much depth.

Hana No Miyako De

Complete | takarai rihito | 2000 released

beautiful, pure, and heartbreaking. in just 3 chapters (and 1 extra), I managed to feel an astounding range of emotions. It was adorable, and had depth, and made me cry. the emotions that the characters and the story itself conveyed was truly amazing. I felt their regret, sadness, longing, their love that couldn't be. it hurt and yet I reread it 3 times so far. plus, the art is absolutely gorgeous

I read it but I kind of forgot the details. I recall the main plot points and that it had a realistic feel and wasn't all sunshine and butterflies. Definitely a bit heavy/ sad/ psychological because of the realistic aspect
