Koi Nanka Shitakunai
okay. wow. bear with me: I wouldn't have read this manga bc the art style isn't what I like, but someone was searching for the plot and I really wanted to read it too. I am SO glad I did. This is amazing. The story is really touching and sweet, but basically right at the beginning it made my heart hurt (in a way that shows the effective storytelling of the author~) I ADORE the main character (Yuuto). He's funny and bubbly and flirty, and he cares so much about his family that he's always acting...of course this made my heart hurt even more, because he surpassed all his emotions, and also that he's so caring.
Kowagaranai de, Soba ni Ite
I ADORE THIS SO SO MUCH. holy shit, I was completely captivated from the very first page right to the end. it was sweet, beautiful, heart-clenchingly sad and happy and--- One of my favorites of all time now. Wow. I cried.
Haikyu!! Dj - Snow Step!
I don't like doujinshi's. but I thought this was cute as fuck and the art is beautifuuuul. take that as you will
DistopiA ~Mikansei na Sekai~
4.5 because the ending was way too rushed (the part in the real world). it was generally fast-paced, I wish it was longer and all the aspects were explored in more depth. Other than that though, I really loved this concept! It was really interesting and had my attention the whole time. I liked the 2 main characters, and the backstory (extra ch) was really funny. It was cute and overall a good read, so I do wish there was more.
Hinadori wa Shiokaze ni Madoromu
I cried, I laughed, I felt the pain through their backstories. I haven't read such a well-paced yaoi in a LONG time (even the ones I love probably don't have such a good pace as this). all of their backstories are really heart-breaking, and their love is unique- this yaoi doesn't focus on the stereotypical love we're all used to. it has a more mature feel to it, more of wanting to be next to each other, to be supporting one another rather than a simple attraction. we can see that kind of love develop throughout the story, and Ayumu (the kid) adds a whole other level of depth that rounds out and completes the story. The portrayal of real, raw human emotions were also very well done, I thought each character had a great sense of depth to them. Really well done. on another note, I'd LOVE a spin-off with Ayumu and Kazuya when they're in middle school/ high school since they already have the whole 'childhood friends' trope and the 'tsundere uke and attached/clingy, playful (puppy-like?) seme' vibe going (´∀`)♡
Kimi To Parade
it was mellow, gentle, fluffy and cute. however, it pales in comparison to it's sequel ("Paradise View", which I accidentally read first). it seemed to lack that raw depth of emotion that was provided in it's sequel, but this is still a recommended read for sure, especially if u wana read the sequel. I love the soft development of their relationship, and adore both characters.
Sick
kinda cliche but really really cute and not boring
