Sekaiichi Hatsukoi

Ongoing | nakamura shungiku | 2006 released

I remember watching the anime adaptation (on YouTube) in the kitchen while my parents were literally right there in the living room. Til this day I still don't know how I wasn’t caught (I was in middle school at the time)

Koisuru Boukun

Ongoing | takanaga hinako | 2004 released

One of the first yaois that really got me interested in the genre as a whole. From time to time, i would reread this masterpiece despite the fact that how the characters did the deed was less than ideal (Morinaga, the top, "accidentally" drugged Tatsumi but paid no mind to him at first because he thought the drink didn't have an effect on people. It did though! and when night fell and they were fast sleep, Tatsumi couldn't rest as the drink made him painfully aroused. So Morinaga took this opportunity as a way to "help" him get off. In the end, he couldn't control himself and ended up raping him. Morinaga's actions are worrisome, but Tatsumi's isn't any better. Even before what Morinaga did, he hated gay people with a passion. Wasn't above talking about murdering them or assaulting Morinaga just because he is one. Homosexuals exclusively since he almost got raped by his college professor. Morinaga saved him, but rapes him himself later on. See how this plot have so many holes morally wise? Tatsumi, even though he really was raped, he subconsciously enjoyed when they did those things together sometimes. Tatsumi even had the chance of never seeing Morinaga after he raped him. But instead if letting Morinaga dropout, he basically begs him to stay and offer his body or something. I don't know, now that I think about it, it makes less and less sense. Well, it doesn't really matter. Despite it's faults, i see enjoyed the story.) >>>>Update Even through the years of maturing and learning that this story is kind of trashy, it’s still kind of a guilty pleasure. No matter how much progress the main couple went through, nothing can change the fact that it started very, very badly. And honestly, Mori should have done some time for that. Seriously.
