Unfather
This story struck me as odd as soon as I heard about the title. Without any information about what is going on in this story, I plunged into it. But once I began reading it I was left without words. A college student goes into prostitution for his college tuition only to want to quit. Later the day he stops seeing the older man his mother asks him to meet her boyfriend only to find out that her boyfriend was the older man that he was seeing for money. I find this story to be taboo but at the same time intriguing. I want to see how everything turns out with this older man, the young man, and his mother.
Lover Boy
The beginning of this story was actually very cute. then after the story actually kept going they kept the plot very transparent. That this man got purposed to 17 years ago when he was 11 by a 3-year-old, old to be getting married to a woman later on and after two months of his marriage he was tired of the married and bumped into the person who purposed to him 17 years back only to realize that the younger man probably still has feelings for him. Overall I feel as if the plot will be steady but the story will get very messy as they try to figure out what they are going to do. But the artwork is on the cuter side not exactly a bubbly look, but it also maintains this typical manga look due to its lack of color.
Drug Candy
Well, the preview is a tad bit confusing when you first read it but once you get to the first chapter everything gets cleared up right away. Everything is thrown out at the reader right away and just shows all this mans problem right away. for example, Nobody at his job likes him and right after scolding an employee underneath him he gets a call from his wife and she starts complaining about a small rip in the carpet and then his mistress, who is supposed to stay hidden decides to visit his workplace where their affair could be figured out. all this is shown within the first 10 pages of chapter 1. I feel as if those things could have at least been strung out to pull the readers intrest a lot more and have them guess the next thing that is going to happen instead of feeding everything to the audience. Now for the artwork. I like the artwork personally. You can tell that the illustrator put a lot of effort into the work without overdoing the panels and making it into a suffocating mess. The art is clean and organized. Overall I think this story should slow down a little and drag out the plot a little more and have the audience wait for a little before spooning everything to their readers, but that aside I will continue to read the story.
