THE ONLY BL ID EVER FULL-HEARTEDLY RECOMMEND. literally so good, from the enemies to lovers concept, to the realistic development of sangwoo and jaeyoung’s relationship from enemies to lovers, just all so fucking good. i love these bitches so fucking much. update: finally finished… IM SO DEAD. semantic error changed my life fr. we NEED side stories NEOWW !! however, i do have serious gripes w the way sangwoo refused to open up abt any of his feelings to jaeyoung when he was worried abt their relationship standing + how things will be when jaeyoung studies abroad. there were at least 2-3 diff times where jaeyoung gave him a window to disclose his feelings but sangwoo just decided to tsundere it up and be like “we should stop seeing each other” instead of saying what was actually on his mind. this shit pissed me off so bad bc it’s just like BRO… JUST TELL HIM !! THIS IS A SAFE SPACE !!! like so much of the drama that happened between them at the end could’ve been avoided if he just communicated w him. also the way sangwoo would straight up just book it to avoid addressing things abt his feelings like that one time when they were playing basketball tgt and sangwoo subconsciously confessed that he loved jaeyoung. like bro fr just killed the mood so bad ToT. still rly like sangwoo as a character (prob my fave from this) but can’t ignore my feelings abt these moments fr. anyways despite those gripes, i think sangwoo’s journey to acknowledging his love for jaeyoung was v well done. the way we gradually saw him grow more comfortable around him and become more open to trying new things w him was so sweet to read. ALSO I FUCKING LOVE JIHYE!!! she was such a good and refreshing character to have in this. love it when a woman isn’t instantly demonized by pure virtue of her having feelings for a man that another man is into (will never forgive the drama adaptation for doing that to her). also the way she argued so well in favor of gay marriage and queer love was so good, like she fr wiped the floor w sangwoo. if jihye has 100 fans, im one of them; if jihye has 1 fan, that’s me; if jihye has 0 fans, i’ve left this world.

the top was fucking crazy wth. he had 0 respect for the mc’s boundaries and was so obsessive and pushy.

this plot is so fucking mid. weird ass freak of a childhood best friend + rapist, weird gym bro who tried to SA the mc bc weird freak childhood friend told him to (you’re a grown ass man STAND UP.), weird incestuous older brother. insane fucking combo. no one has any chemistry w each other. the gym bro and the mc could’ve been decent ig if it didn’t come out that he tried to SA him at the school trip. just a bunch of freaks everywhere in this.
