cute but erm weird that the manager literally knew the idol since he was like 16-17. why couldn’t bro just be fresh outta high school at least (19), like why it always gotta become mad weird for no reason… anyways, i liked how the idol is p stoic and serious w fans + other ppl but is childish and silly w the manager. that gap moe was v cute.

this had some potential to be a decent story but the latter half of the story just derailed any respect or favor i had for this series. the first half of the story compelled me w dooshik & jooha’s dynamic as they both worked in sex work (albeit one willingly and one forced). the support that dooshik gave to jooha during his hardships at the beginning felt like it was coming from a genuine place of understanding, as dooshik was in the same line of work for most of his life. in general, dooshik was a very likeable ML in the first half of PB and the reveal of his backstory also made him a v interesting character; however the events in the last 1/3 of the story assassinated TF outta his character. straight up just ruined his characterization forever for me. for dooshik, a character who has always told jooha that the best revenge is to live well and be happy to spite the haters and ppl who want him to suffer to inflict the exact same sexual abuse that jooha has gone through to another character was such a bad plot point. the wording of “you saved me from hell only to fall into it yourself” could’ve been so good if dooshik’s “falling into hell” wasn’t becoming someone who inflicts SA into others. it literally just completely conflicts w his character so bad. this man was literally a sex worker why would he ever orchestrate a r*pe… what was the author thinking bro. i understand him wanting revenge for what’s happened to jooha but SA to fight SA just doesn’t do anything and just continues the cycle. so incredibly counterproductive and it wasn’t even satisfying like if he had just done normal torture methods. ALSO THE LVL OF DETAIL THAT THE AUTHOR PUT INTO THE GANG SA SCENE WAS AWFUL. i did not need to see daekwang get violently sexually assaulted by countless men, punched, spit on, PISSED ON, and i especially did not need to see daehui be forced to watch his brother be SA’d and daekwang be forced to ejaculate on daehui’s face on top of all that shit. this was honestly prob one of the worst SA scenes i’ve ever had the displeasure of reading and i’ve read things w darker plot lines. what the fuck was the point of even including this… and the fact that dooshik suffered virtually 0 consequences for orchestrating this is insane. why did jooha, especially, forgive him so easily for doing this? like bro your bf just did smth at the same lvl as your abusers just did is that not the craziest red flag? and on the topic of the twins, WHY DID THE AUTHOR MAKE THEM TWINCESTUOUS ARE YOU KIDDING ME… when they were first properly introduced mid way through the story i genuinely was very interested in them and their dynamic but couldn’t help but side eye some of their skinship but i brushed it off as the author drawing sm gay sex that it just looked non-platonic when it wasn’t supposed to be. but then when that panel of them butt booty naked in bed cuddling together showed up and the panel w daekwang w hickeys on his neck, i actually wanted to die. why… why was this put in… why couldn’t it just be a normal doomed sibling relationship, im so fucking dead. also, the lack of communication in this was crazy. i understand dooshik hiding his past in the beginning but after he started gang stuff and esp after dooshik saved jooha from daehui again after he was kidnapped mid-piss and jooha finally learned abt dooshik’s past from seunghyun during their hospital recovery, why did dooshik stay being secretive as hell? it’s like… so you can’t live without jooha but you also can’t be honest w him?? like damn bitch maybe stop fucking for once and use your mouth to speak instead of eating out your bf’s hole :/ !! in general also hated how dooshik and jooha fucked in almost every chapter. like why did daekwang and daehui just have the craziest sibling falling out and then the chap ends w the start of the main pairing fucking for almost 3 chaps straight, are you fucking fr rn? pilwon is his own thing. i think him just being an evil mf was fine until this mf randomly trauma dumped like crazy to jooha when karma finally hit his ass and he got stabbed by jooha. like mf no one cares that your family out casted you for being born outta wedlock, you’re literally an abusive piece of shit. anyways reading this was overall a bad experience and i do not recommend this at all. so much potential just for it to be ruined by weird random incest, horrible character development for the ML, and overall just messy writing at the end.

this was cute but honestly gave me so much second hand embarrassment at times. in the first season, it was yoonseul’s bday bc him waiting outside the closed bakery for jun for 6 HOURS ON HIS BIRTHDAY actually killed my grandma… im so dead. its the way it was majority his fault too bc jun never explicitly said he was gonna meet him. yoonseul bawling his eyes out when jun finally showed up and being all like “why did you come! aren’t you happy you finally got rid of the weird creep who wouldn’t leave you alone?!”… man it was just so pathetic to watch. yoonseul fr was just like a sopping wet cat born in a cardboard box. in the second season, the S.H.E was from both yoonseul and jun assuming stuff without outright asking each other abt the topic of concern. like with gunwoo, yoonseul assuming that gunwoo was going after jun + that jun liked him. this shit was so fucking dumb bc the way this whole arc could’ve been avoided if yoonseul and jun talked abt it directly. also jun avoiding yoonseul after that dongha kid left the bakery bc he was worried that ppl would think badly of yoonseul if they knew he was gay. while this is actually a v real and valid concern, yoonseul has made it so clear that he is the last person who would ever give a fuck abt what others have to say abt him (besides jun) + has crazy pretty privilege in a lookist society like s.korea. if they just talked abt their worries + issues we could’ve avoided so much conflict… as for general opinions on the cast, i loved jun i thought he was so silly and cute. yoonseul was likeable to me at first until he hella fumbled the bag a second time w jun when he told jun he wasn’t gay and couldn’t see himself in a relationship w him (even tho these bitches were literally GOING ON DATES). this shit pissed me off so bad. then he fixed it by honestly just being annoying and pushy. i will be honest tho i felt rly bad for him on his bday… that shit was so rough fr. also didn’t like how he started acting mad fucking immature and childish in the second season like… you are 29 pushing 30 bitch, get the fuck up !! i do understand him bottling up his grievances bc he wanted to be a perfect bf for jun tho, that was valid and real (i would do smth like that too tbh). dongha was annoying idgaf abt bro at all. loved jun’s bakery coworkers + buddies yoonseul’s siblings were funny + i liked them

straight up thought this was gonna be a manhwa abt a school shooter bc of that first chapter LMAOO nah but this was a good manhwa; i binged it in one sitting. carnby kim’s works always do a good job of catching your attention and making you want to read more and more. also rly liked the sweet home connections + general explanation for how the plot happenings of sweet home came to be fr. only gripe is that i wish seongbin died faster tbh. bro was alive until like the last 10 chaps. awful guy, he needed to be taken out quicker. however, i do think it’s funny that he was such a piece of shit and utterly terrible person that the monsters wanted to keep him alive bc they thought he was interesting. monsters who hate humans and want them dead. like that’s crazy LOL !!
