New but energetic sensei (uke) and cool sensei who teaches him the ropes. #already lovers at the start but it followed up with a backstory of how they got together. secondary couple {ch.5-8}: the student whom Ueno-sensei confides to has been crushing on masaki since they were kids. he wanted his heart tho, not the body. Being a horny teen, seme messed up the order of courtship. They were too focused on their own unrequited love to notice the shift of feellings of the other. A cute, teary misunderstanding of each other's feelings but were resolved in the end w/ some little help of the main sensei couple. @ch. 5: cameo of a more matured asahi and nishino around 37yo, still a pair of handsome men. The flow is a bit confusing BUT HELL I LOVE DAN-CHAN. This is funny plus cute artwork! Synopsis: At first he was annoyed AF with this arrogant freshman who seemed to have everything. For some reasons kohai seems to dislike him and does not recognize him as a senior. Incensed, he competed and looked for a weakness. And found one. And it's the opposite. It seems the younger man actually like him?! Time to tease the guy. However, he learned through his sisters that his first love, Chii-chan (a girl, or so he thinks) and this guy he is annoyed with is one and the same. Now, it's his turn to have confused emotions. #seme younger by two years. #hate to love. #senpai x kohai. At the last chapter, the two had a heart to heart talk about their feelings and even if it's not blatantly announced, judging from the extra they agreed to date. @chap. 5 extra: A little time jump where the seniors (including uke) have now graduated and set for college. The pair are lovey-dovey but are still bickering as always. BTW I love dan-chan and his "revolutionary way of apologizing" ROFLMAO. I also love Hakase and his pointless but genius rambling. #squad goals! Just a peeve: The art is pretty, ofc but I'm bothered with the lack of animated faces to go with the lively convos. It's especially noticeable when the face speaking is calm and the mouth is not even opened. Sets me off, ugh. #decensored smut in the extra. > 3.5*

So much fun. A manga where the alpha is the one dragged around for a change. @2018 edit: That's it? WHERE'S THE BITE? and THE BAAABY? Oh come on! They started out badly with that attempted force mating when Kasahara (alpha) got drunk. Alpha is so mad he avoided the guy who tried to take advantage of him and his alpha status. He may be pissy at the first chaps but he's one of the most proper alphas around. What I like about him is he's never discriminatory. He just wanted to live normally since he's so bogged down by the labels of the society. Amusing thing about it is when Kasahara started facing his feelings for Akiyama, Akiyama got kind of turned off when he's the one that chased the guy at the first chap. @Last chapters: WHOA. I'm so amazed. the mangaka was able to dig deep down their characters. This is truly well made. I thought this was just a lighthearted and rare (non-rapey) omegaverse romance but it exceeded my expectations! As the story goes on, we get to know the two MCs deeper and their innermost fears and insecurity. They are communicating and tried to met in the middle along with what they lack. They definitely compliment each other. An ordinary but non-discriminatory kind alpha x excellent omega pulled down by society's perception.
