A novel turned manhua staged in the tumultuous ancient chinese era. Manga - 4 star / novel - 5 stars. I really feel the regret about how the manhua-ga failed to properly transfer the atmosphere of the novel to manga format. I know it's possible and it can work. I've seen it done splendidly in HHYL. That is why I was disappointed in the manga adaptation. She just missed the development of the characters and their mutual love. It was too rushed. And she made everything shallow. What made the novel a masterpiece is it's intricate plot weaving. The character and the story is well-developed. But it failed to translate in the manhua. Made it quite detached and did I said shallow? Anyway, rereading the novel to start. Still the whole manga IS LIKE A WORK OF ART. A++ for the artwork! MAN!

Super corny story of a bocchama in a political family. Tackles the mystery of the disapperance of his childhood friend that has some connection to his father. It felt like watching a c-rate afternoon telenovela. Read if you are ok with twisted stories. Basically story of two victims (both seme and uke) that has a dark past and emerged successful as an adult regardless of everything. And that is the saving grace of this manga. Be careful of pedophilia themes

it may be one of those mangas you should not take seriously nonetheless, it's REALLY amusing. sure, the art is old but main seme is still handsome. if you are into salarymen stories, this will be an entertaining read. similar to tiger and bunny, ordinary inconspicuous salaryman by day, kickass hero by night.

A recently orphaned college boy who had no money and no one to go to just wing it and met this mystery man his aneki thought highly of. #tough, #spunky uke x cool seme (note: Couple first introduced at Kemono wa Ai de, Iyasareru) - ch. 5-6: back at chiharu x kazuki's side. #jealous kazuki, sneaky jun. goes back to the recent timeline where jin is tutoring the troublesome young master kazuki. #spoiled, bratty uke x hunky giant seme who btw, is some perfect overperforming office monster.

And so this frustrating vague relationship between jin and jun continues. And fujisaki sensei's art is getting softer and more bishounen-like **might take a looooong time to update.
