A light-hearted out-of-the-closet manga that dealt with the every life of happily divorced couple and later on, the divorced dad's and uke's families fun enmeshed life. And how the kid in-between them is faring. I appreciate that the former husband & wife still became friends. It can take a whole lot of class to keep it cordial unless you are both accepting. In all actuality, it can also get messy like this in real life. Not for the narrow-minded. Again, this is an out-of-the-closet manga.

Why does it has a low rating? WHY? ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ TBH This manga is actually pretty good w/ a satisfying deep plot about homophobia and people fiercely hiding in the closet, fearfully covering sexuality with layers upon layers of lies and perfect "normality". It does not romanticise gay-in-denial BL but lays down the reality of what might be happening in real life. As I read on, I think Sone smell gayness (gaydar ALERT!) on Mitsui all the while after the #reencounter that is why he persisted through the depressed divorcee's abuse & self-destruction mode. (I was staring at Sone's face, curious as to why he doesn't even looked surprised when Mitsui finally dropped the "I'm gay" confession so I figured he must have been suspecting all while) I felt so grateful for his existence in Mitsui's life because he literally served as a salvation for him and gave him the courage to get out of his fiercely locked closet and take baby steps as a gay man, breaking down the barriers of the heterosexual conformity that served as his shield to cover up his trauma. I was annoyed at Mitsui at first but I'm happy for him now and Sone got his highschool flame finally fulfilled.

OMO is this a fun and cute manga about teachers. ch. 1-3.5: #reencounter after 7 yrs. #homophobia #bullying. Well, regardless of age and position, gay people are a target for bullying in the end. :( :( My heart hurts for Eri the most. He's been through a lot of hard shit since he was young. It's sad, depressing and portrays race and sexual orientation discrimination in a damatic and gritty way. There are plenty of moments where I say "yes" especially when connor threw that coffee a stranger gave him. Unlike a lot of BL mangas, this does not encourage gay fetishism that made it likeable for me but also hard to read because I can't help but identify and that for me is bad bec. it triggers a lot in me since I'm both asian and not straight. double damn, haha. Unfortunately, it's still ongoing but I don't like rereading stories like these even if it's good. It's too painful and personal. #break-up, #re-encounter after 6 mos to one year. #inter-racial lovers. #drugs. 2018 Edit: FINISHED Apr. ️Ch. 1-5: So pretty & so cute. What a summer romance. Fuuka despite looking rich actually has family complications. So he thought of doing a summer job. Met this cheerful younger guy who is the owner's son. And as the days went by, they got closer. One day, maybe because of summer heat, younger guy's touches turned risque.... #older uke by 3 years, #adorable seme. Ch. 6-7: TBH I think two chapters is too short for this plot. It felt like everything was squished in. I belive that if the mangaka was allowed to make this a whole volume, it would have a better story flow.
