Chapter 116 SPOILERS FROM NOVEL UPDATES • Casilla - Ernon + Michael (adoptive son) - Both Casilla & Ernon became doting parents, they raised Michael carefully to make sure their son had a happy childhood and felt loved. Both were worried that their blunt persona will hurt the child, and their bad childhood became their main motivation for being te best parent. - Michael himself felt worried and tried to fulfill what he thought as "parents expectation". One day, he entered his parents' bedroom and said that if Casilla wants, he will do his best to be the next leader of silver lion. Ernon put a sad face and joked : why his son doesn't want to be an archmage like the father. Michael panicked and stuttered, he said that he doesn't have magic. - Casilla just laugh and asked if she stopped being a knight and live lazily in the manor, will Michael follows her?. She comforted her son and said that both she and Ernon never see Michael as a tool and he doesn't need to follow her and Ernon's way of life. - In the end, those three lived happily in the current timeline. He realized that he couldn't have this woman. He confessed and begged to Casilla to at least look at him in the next life. Casilla said yes. - Luke stayed single, and he became a workaholic knight and always volunteered himself to go to war or disputed area. Casilla & Mikhail worried about him, who didn't seem to have an attachment to living. - Luke saw Casilla lived happily and finally had enough. He gradually lost his eyesight because of injury, and there is not much for him to do in the stable empire under Tassel's command. He prepared his last will and drank poison again. - Casilla & Mikhail tried their best to investigate Luke's death, but Casilla knew about the suicide from the letter. Luke signed it as "Luke Pereira/Sage Cahill". - Moved on to the next life. In the modern world, Sage Cahill traveled to Bangkok together with his coworker, Casilla. He joined the military (again loool) and went to a psychiatrist because of insomnia and sign of PTSD. - Sage got a massive dream about unknown events (actually, it is about his 2 previous lives). Chapter 33 . spoilers from user EmmJay: "There's about 177 chapters (theyre talking abt the novel) There is no ML, there is no Love Interest, basically there is no Romance in the novel. -Though who knows what they'll do in the manwha. They could follow the 'Who made me a Princess' approach and change the storyline. The plot itself is actually quite similar. With that said everyone seems to be in agreement that the novel started off strong yet dwindled in the middle and left a lot of them dissappointed with the open end. There were jibes at the author on whether or not they got sick of or hated their own creation. Kiera comes from a spiritual family who for generations were blessed by god, so you could say they were like Guardians of the Empire. Not much is known about their divinty since there is some sort of pact made with the Temple not to study it. The Grand Duke originally had two wives, the first one being ousted (and I'm not sure -assasinated) for some political reasons by what it seems to be the machinations of the second wifes family. This is where Cosette was able to find her footing within the household since it seems she also shares a resemblance with the first wife. The wife did have a baby in her stomach, but it was a son not a daughter. Going back to the blessing, there is a rule that to avoid Chaos and Calamity they have to treasure the spirit weilder who in this case is Kiera. Which is why when Cosette appears there is confusion as to who the real daughter is, since keeping the fake might incure the wrath of the gods. -Well they killed off the real one and kept the fake one what do you think happened? As you see in the Manwha she was brought back, exactly two months before Cosette arrives. All due to a magician and maybe the father, it didn't say. They don't go into further details, but you can surmise that Cosette herself is not a normal person since she is able to deal with magic not spirit since that ability is only belings to Kiera. But from what I gather she is able to use it to her abilites that it resonates with Kieras water spirits, que stealing Kieras Thunder. As the story goes it's your predictable I'll go my own way and forget about you while I start my new life while I investigate and steer clear of death flags. The Father takes notice since he is now being ignored. She is now friends with the knights and also shares hobbies with the maids. She does at one point fall for a blonde jerk in the gambling Hall, but it seems shortlived and he was disposed of quickly enough. The biggest gripe people have with the story itself was that they made such a big deal with Cosette, but she was taken care of completely in the 2nd half of the novel. The latter half of the series was pointless fillers which didn't go anywhere and for all the fuss about the Great Water Spirit, it was never mentioned again which left the readers frustrated. ...is what they say, I'm just repeating what I read. So please take this spiel with a grain of salt since the interest of other people are vast and vary greatly. It's open to interpretation. The manwha itself seems to be diverging from the original and I'm enjoying reading it."
