that was such a wild ride, and i loved every minute of it. i actually binged this in a couple hours? like i stayed up until like 3 reading this and then quickly caught up before work but arghhh this is the kind of shit i’m looking for, the angst but comfort is so yummy. i love angst that isn’t caused by the ml, and yet he’s the one to comfort, so contempt.. but okok let’s start. first- in my room while reading this story, it fits them so well :,) i feel so bad for mc, my meowie. i’d give anything for him tbh. he’s such a sweetie, but not overly nice. the little greenhouse w him and the bodyguard are such precious moments, gosh and the way the bodyguard gets immersed into the books,, he’s freaking adorable. it’s nice to see some kind of interaction between the mc and the bodyguard because they’re typically npcs in manhwa. i like mcs interests a lot too, it’s really cool how much he likes reading and im really excited to see his future perfume creations!! i’ve never heard of that job? hobby? in manhwa before, it’s definitely one of a kind. moving into mcs family, i do eat up the troupe of him being mistreated for ml to show him proper love, but i really like how it isn’t so much physical rather than mental. idk it’s a lot more realistic esp from like a prestigious company who wants to maintain their good image. the father can drop dedd but i do kinda like the brother,, there’s something about him man, like he’s a complete asshole don’t get me wrong, esp when he’s so quick to fire people, but it seems like he cares for mc the most out of everyone else in the family, ESP considering they’re not even blood related. like mcs brother is always throwing a tantrum but the more i think about his character, and even mc pointed it out, that’s how his upbringing was. like he would be a better person if he wasn’t raised in such a shitty environment, ofc it’s no excuse because mc grew up in the same one and is an absolute sweetheart :,)) but i do have interest in mcs brother!! i am super curious to learn more about him. and finally ml.. he’s really something. he’s scary and intimidating but an absolute green flag, he’s so nice to mc and is always magically there for him, we love to see it!! mc having someone to rely on, but also not confiding in him completely. so i did read the spoilers and that’s so tragic how awful ml was in his first life or pre regression i should say, but it’s so mo ran of him to khs after mc does so, it’s so ranwan it’s CRAZY. like even for mc having dreams of their old life like chu wanning, to some of the events being deja vu for them, arghh. and it’s super cool how we see it from the non regressed side?? i don’t think ive ever read that perspective before it’s really great, im on the edge of my seat. the plot is absolutely 10/10, ik some people complain about it constantly being their domestic life but its my cup of tea :3 i do hope there’s more growth between them though. and the art is fabulous! it’s just enough to capture the psychological aspects as well as the cute parts, very well done. i’m enjoying this manhwa a lot and it’s going right into my comfort stories, please please please stay good *praying hands* one more thing is that their first time wasn’t bad, it did have the typical yaoi no but it was depicted more as being overstimulated rather than hating it. the spoilers say that mc was pregante before so i’m hoping to see some cute kids in the future U_U also,, this story reminds me alot of cozy obsession, they’re literally the same but opposite, so excited to keep reading both of them
