The Man Who Can't Taste
I really find it hard to understand the mother. Did it never occur to her that the father would turn against the son he abandoned? When they show that she saw her son again, he was already a teenager. How many years did she have to go back for him and she didn't? I think that what his mother did has no justification; the explanations she gives seem poor to me and she doesn't deserve forgiveness. There are actions that simply cannot be forgiven and that's it. Inwoo should go to therapy with a good psychologist who will give him the tools and support so that little by little he understands that he is not responsible for the actions his parents took, that he understands that there are things that no matter how much we "forgive" they will hurt us for the rest of our lives and in moments of vulnerability resentment, anger, sadness arise again; but that he can do things for himself now that he is an adult to take care of himself. It seemed hasty to me that he went to a session and then met with his mother. Therapy can last years depending on the severity, it is not going to be solved by going to a single session and immediately seeking answers from his mother. (sorry if I don't express myself well, English is not my first language)
