Sangyang:The Wanderer
holy SHIT this is good it's a perfect noir mystery with little bits of romance slowburning
A Night to Remember Webtoon
that…..was…….a lot? i really liked season 1, but i feel like the payoff of season 2 was lackluster and the answers to the mysteries weren’t as exhilarating as the mysteries themselves, or it just didn’t focus on things i’d have liked more focus on like the psychological horror of the body swapping (doesn’t help that the TL quality drops to hell in s2)
Lover Of Green Midnight
INSANEEEEEEE anyways this isn’t BL like how hannibal isn’t BL (tldr still gay as hell, intentionally or not)
Do You Still Like Me?
this was pretty good !! kinda difficult trying to piece the timeline together, but i love a good psychological-turned-wholesome relationship (checkmate author sending fanart in creators note too omg missed them)
MADK
WHAT????? what@?????? WHATTTTT???????? WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT???????£{_]^[48_[¥{¥{ im going to throw up this author is fucking insane how the hell did they come up eith this . anyways cant even recommend this but goddamn okay i thought this was just gonna be like an edgy over the top smut and gorefest but like this was actually so incredibly written and illustrated im still speechless like they COOKED
Fool's Night
oohhhh this is interesting (read on mangadex these chapters aren’t right)
Sand Castle
this stressed me out as i was reading and as i finished it im STILL stressed tf out what yhe hell a really interestingly written toxic relationship with 2 people who need therapy so bad but still develop as people without it ig...
OUROBOROS:ウロボロス
i had to drop this when i was reading it weekly bc it rly got too much, but it's much easier to get through now that it's done. until the last few chapters, i really love how masterfully all the characters are written. all of them dealing with horrible trauma and awful first and second-hand experiences, trying to cope amidst shitty societal expectations. woohyung especially is an amazing, frustrating, tragically relatable but hopeful character. it was also rly interesting seeing the story tackle asexuality and hypersexuality as a trauma response coexisting. the last few chapters just felt a bit rushed so it was hard to process all the rapid story beats and emotions, but i mostly like the ending that we got (except the obvious).
A Terrible Romance
this is such a realistically tragic portrayal of how abuse victims develop anxious attachment, heavy insecurities, and self-destructive habits that ruin their normal relationships. it's so fucking sickening how minho degrades woojin's self-worth as easily as breathing and woojin just can't recover no matter how hard he tries, constantly falling back on the old habits that have been drilled into him because of all the shitty abusers in his life. god i just want woojin to get therapy, for taehwan to heal, and for minho to go to jail for weed charges or smth since Korea dgaf about sex crimes UPDATE: WOOJIN'S IN THERAPY WE WIN!!!!!
