Ryoichi was the reincarnation of Yonosuke, former wife/lover of Aroku. Aroku found Ryoichi but has no memory of them being together. So Aroku decided to stay in the human world to live with Ryoichi and see if Ryoich will recover his memories. But as time goes by, something bloomed in their relationship.
