Hitori to Hitori no 3650nichi

Complete | hitomi | 2019 released

It was beautiful. Both stories were. These two stories portrayed immense emotion and I'm so impressed with how it was conveyed! The first story is about a man named Katsumi who had rejected his best friend, Maki, when he was confessed to during their high school years. Later on in the future, Maki reencounters Katsumi only to find out that Katsumi had been consuming himself with sex just to be punished. Katsumi felt broken because he had loved Maki even back when Maki first confessed to him but was conflicted with how the world would see their relationship if it were ever exposed. He felt guilty for running away and hurting his friend! One day, possibly during his University yeears, he was raped by someone he met and later on decided that the pain he felt during that time would be a good way to punish himself for what he had done to Maki. Maki of course didn't allow this and stopped Katsumi! After lots of trials and conflictions, Katsumi finally decided to respect himself and his body more and also had started a relationship with Maki! This couple is really good for each other and they are beautiful together! I love the story overall from the art to the storyline to the characters! Everything is just so beautifully conveyed and my emotions were all over the place reading it! The second story follows a man named Daiya who had just moved to the country side. He met Yusuke for the first time when he had just finished moving. I think Yusuke was a neighbour... Anyway, Daiya at first thought Yusuke was rude because of the way Yusuke had first introduced himself but when Yusuke showed up at his front door bearing a gift of vegetables, Daiya changed his mind. From then on, they became really close and enjoyed each others company to the fullest! Daiya and Yusuke were always by each others side! One day, Yusuke and Daiya were watching movies when Yusuke all of a sudden found a DVD that Daiya had and curiously asked what it was. Daiya said it was porn and later on found out Yusuke was a virgin. They were both kind of drunk but they ended up having sex. Daiya realised what he had done and decided to run away from Yusuke because of his guilt. Later on, when he and his friend was buying stuff for a mixer they were planning, Daiya's friend had said something which made Daiya realised that Yusuke didn't mind what he had done. So he ended up going back to the countryside to stay with Yusuke! This couple is another complex couple as well! Instead of portraying guilt in the way that the first story did, they portrayed guilt in a completely different way! I also love this storyline as much as the first one! Truth be told, I actually didn't want to have a second story after I finished reading the first one but now I'm glad it's there! The story was also beautiful and I really liked Yusuke as a character even though it was Daiya's point of view! The ending of the second story was adorable because Yusuke and Daiya were finally a happy couple! If this story had a physical copy, I would buy it! I might check later to see if there actually is one. Anyway, these two stories are beautiful in their own way and I totally recommend this story to anyone who wants to read heartwrenching stories which tug on your heart! These stories made my heart feel something! I would totally reread this sometime in the future! A masterpiece this is! Truly!

Imperfect Pervert

Complete | Nasu,NAS | 2019 released

It's a story which is hard to understand. There are many things that people would be uncomfortable with like abuse, manipulation, obsession and way more. But it's a story that touched my heart. It was definitely messed up but I'm glad that Jaewon was able to forgive himself eventhough he never really did anything wrong. It isn't his fault that he ended up as messed up ad he did. Of course it doesn't excuse what he did to Jung-wook but if Jung-wook can forgive him, I think he should be able to move on. Mental health is important and trauma shouldn't be taken likely. It's a good story but you need to be strong enough to read through it.

Haruka Tooki Ie

Complete | yatsuda teki | 2019 released

It’s beautiful. It portrays trauma in such a way that it hurts you but at the same time, leaves you in awe at just how gruesome and cruel the world can be. It shows the pain of not being able to move on and the pain of being haunted by your past and upbringing. Hayden and Alan are characters with such complex personalities made by their own pasts in which they could not escape. They didn’t deserve the deaths they faced but they left the world together because they loved one another. All their suffering was because of the people around them who subjected them to torture and the memories of such a thing scarred them. I wish they got the happy ending they deserved but no one will ever apologise for creating a monster. Only the monsters who were created against their own wills have to suffer the consequences of their birth and upbringing. The world is beautiful as it is cruel.
