plot: mcs mother is in hospital and he needs money to take care of her and his brother, accepts a deal from a cea that asks him to impersonate a dead girl who was lose to his father and mc knew from his childhood and were neighbors/friends. mc accepts and at first old man didnt believe it bc his son had brought other fakes but after sharing stories he and the old man connect, that job would only for summer, until the ceo's younger son arrives. he dislikes "her" due to the idea of an arranged marriage brought up by old man which mc couldnt outright say no, ml knows "she" is another fake bc he knew girl had died, mc explains what hes doing is not totally fake but ml says he will still tell his grandpa. at the end he doesnt after he plays piano for mc. 7y later mc working at a bar and encounters ml who went back to usa to study, ml thinks his face is a bit familiar, ml keeps seeking him until one day ml saves mc from car crash and then they exchange phone numbers, but he also asks him for a one night stand which mc declines. in the past, they went to the city and came bacl but it was raining, then mc got sick and ml found him but mc refused to go to hospital, then when he recovers they talk abt fake engagement. present time > ml left his car so mc drives it back but ml invites him to his apt, he goes and ml confronts him saying that mc must known him bc he talk casually and formally at times (also asked if he has a sister). mc denied it but then ml made an arangement w mcs boss asking to give mc to him and he will pay ?!?! mc decides he will agree to him asking to help him recover his memories but condition is deadline and that if he remembers mc will leave no matter what, ml accepts and then asks mc to move in to his apt. on past > arragements for engagement ceremony, they grow closer and mc gets to know mls mom. reunion with mls family happens and mls gifts mc a ring in a parallel of mc buying a cheap one from the store and told him to give him that if he didnt want mc to sell it. btw mls family hates 'her' lol. in present time > first day of both living tgt and ml cooks for mc, and tak ab deadline being 3 months. then mc finds a bottle of sleeping pills on mls room. one night he is sleepy and when ml comes home he finds him asleep, wakes him up and mc was having a nightmare of missing ml and kisses him, then he wakes up completely and pushes him. mc was crying in his sleep so ml asks him which bastard he was dreaming of to kiss him and mc told him it was a mistake, then ml says that if he confuses ml with another person again he will get angry or sth like that !!!!
he gets called to work next day and goes, then a friend calls ml and mentions he heard a woman, mc gets lowkey jealous and is told to go back to apt but he doesnt want to interrupt but still goes. then he sees a woman and accidentally thecar sounds and ml goes to him, he keeps making advances onto him but is rejected. ml tells him his sister in law which visited him that day (and asked mc if he was jealous and implid sth abt kiss lol) told him they would remodel his grandpas house and will visit it tomorrow, asks mc to go with him and he accepts. ml falls asleep on his legs and this time he didnt need pills. they go to grandpas house and mc finds a diary but doesnt peak, then neighbors dog goes to the forest and mc tries to find it but rain starts, ml gets worried until he lights up all the house and mc is able to get back. then while mc has towel on his head he resembles the girl so ml tells hom he thinks he remember a girl that looks like him and ask to kiss again to recall and mc kisses him. mc remembers past >>> ml makes a plan for mc to be able to visit his mom, tells his grandpa they go to seoul for a date, ml brings gifts for his family and mc visits his brother then his mom, he mentions he knows his mothers illness doesnt have a cure but they dont know, he feels sad but then he gets texts from ml and calls him, then they meet at a hotel and they have dinner then drinks and mc gets drunk, ml asks abt his family and mc starts crying, but ml kisses him and mc is stunned. they stay at the hotel for a night as ml promised, and his secret wasnt revealed, then ml seems angry on the way home but mc confronts him when they arrive and ml kisses him. back to present >>>>> ml is kissing him and mc pushes him back and asks him if that helped remembering but ml tells him it was a lie. another day, ml tells him that he missed his phone and mc said he would bring it to his event, he goes and finds mls brother from afar, he manages not to see him face to face but brother does notice him and mc is dragged by mls friend, who finds both and gets jealous. then one day mc helps his bar boss and finds ml there, and a girl with he group who asks him if he remembers her. onto the past >>>> ml gets angry at mc bc he thinks kissing him is also part of his role, mc doesnt respond and ml leaves, and then ml friends sister arrives and is a bit jealous bc mc is engaged to ml who is her crush lol but then gets closer to mc. later mc and ml make things up(?) CANT RMR DAMN. in present time, mc reveals pictures from camera and takes out the ones that show his face, gives it to ml and he doesnt react tbh also... mc asks ml to play piano for him since ml wanted to use his lap again but when he played sth abt rainy days mc got sad bc he doesnt like rainy days, then ml tells him he will create better memories for him to give them another meaning and kisses him, mc kisses back. mc goes out w him to look for his brothers bday gift and ml takes him to dinner then to bar, ml leaves mc in bed and mc kisses him but then ml stops him and mc fell asleep. next morning, ml asks mc what dif he want to show him but mc didnt remember, mc then said when hes drunk he goes to anyone and ml gets rlly jealous to a point of kabedon lol and then kissed him and left marks woaaaah ?!?!?! but mc stopped him and ml said not to leave the house bc he couldnt have mc being touched by a single hing wooooow. driver knocks and mc answers door, says his master is waiting and mc finds out is mls sister in law, told him not to get close to ml again, mc then encounters ml friend sister that asks him if he was the girl but mc denied it and then she says it wouldnt be bad if he posed as the girl. FIGHT !!! mc goes to mls apt and tells him he doesnt want to owe anything and that they should stop this, next morning mc leaves, while he is away ml texts him that he will pick him up once he feels ready. mc doesnt respond yet.
