Formless
Pure fucked up abuse. Skimmed it (1&18-24) basically dude stalked a psychopath and now he’s fucked. I’ll pop in to see how this goes but note to self don’t get invested (even though I kinda already am but stop it).
William in the Closet
Ch. 14 I NEED MOREEE. Instant five stars this is so good. Interesting how it's an American setting even though it's a manhwa. Also WILLIAM FUCKING SHAKESPEARE?? I was shooketh. - William comes out of her closet. Literally
The World Without You
Ch. 1-4, 23-29, 35-37, 42-52 (because reading this is scary) (maybe I'll read the rest when it's completed, idk) Can't believe i read this on a cliffhanger. The next chapter can't come sooner. From what I've read of this it's like the angstiest thing on earth like holy; first time communication has made things worse. Usually i avoid stories like this but ig i didn't know the extent of it in this, somehow i underestimated this and for that I repent. - Basically dude keeps seeing a guy in his dream and he becomes his whole world until one day he sees the same guy irl and the guy dies right before his eyes so he picks another dude who came to help him up (he was on the ground) as a substitute for his world.
Crucial Point
Ch. 17 Bdsm. Looks promising. They even have two safe word/action(s), and aftercare. Hopefully they don't fuck it up.
Snowhite's Doorbell
Ch. 19 Interesting yuri twist to the snow white tale.
The Stranger in the Mirror
Ch. 25 Apparently it got dropped cuz Koreans didn't like it was set in china wtf?? Man i was marinating this to binge later fuck them i actually liked this. . Actually so interesting ngl. Love siho, and the ml is actually not that bad. Can't wait to see their relationship progress. Tbh the plot itself is kinda going way over my head but tbh I'm primarily here for the main couple so I'll just go with the slow with the rest for now. Also, gotta say, that side couple (/antagonist couple(???)) seriously irk me everything they're on screen (which admittedly is not a lot but it's still too much). - Major with PTSD from androids turning on his team and massacre them has to work with the new android. - I like the dilemma (?) about androids and if they can be considered human. How they portray it is quite convincing, since usually i have to have a suspension of disbelief for these things, it's nice that they're justifying it for me this tims lol.
Sleeping Dead
THIS WAS ACTUALLY SO GOOD OMG. I'm not getting over this i swear (i prolly will but figure of speech yknow) Anyways it's about this guy, a teacher getting killed and a mad scientist (or so he looks like at first) picking him up and resurrecting him with science (don't ask, idk). Point is i love their development and i especially love the scientist guy, he's unexpectedly cute ngl. He lookin like a balding old man but imagine my surprise when he's younger than the mc(??????) (okay just by a few months but u digress). Also his backstory and flashbacks really fleshed out his character a lot; he went from a mad scientist lunatic to a guy (still kinda mad and scientist) with a troubled past (seriously an understatement that shit made me so sad for him) that just wanted to save his crush (don't @ me i may be delulu but it's true). My favourite scene was the part where he saw him years later and was rehearsing ways to talk to him while stalking him in his car. That was honestly so cute but made me so sad cuz it showed what could've been if all that never happened; if the guy never got killed maybe that could've just had an awkward reunion, that blossomed into love and live happily ever after. That said the fluff they gave me was still really good, i ate it all up they were so fucking cute. ANYWAYS i would also like to appreciate the philosophy in this. Idk if it counts but their conversations about mortality, and if it's okay to kill people if they're POS, and eat them for survival because that's the circle of life and all beings die in the end anyways. Neither of them really have a set moral compass, it kinda evolves and changes based on the circumstance and who's involved (like how mc was originally against killing but caved since he needed to eat but was still hesitant about it, to being all for it when he found out the guy was shit to the scientist guy( sorry i already forgot your name even though it hasn't been a day)) and how even though the scientist guy seemed really nihilistic (idk what else to describe him as i could be wrong) and pessimistic on human behaviour (rightfully so) and seemed so adamant about it it seemed like he was a psycho or at least a sociopath, by the end you can kinda tell it was actually a coping mechanism to rationalize his past and trauma (like when mc apologizes he says its human nature and he would've done it too). He's also not really a psycho or anything since at first he was actually scared when it came to actually murdering someone (though by the end they both kinda got used to it but I'd chalk that up to the human adaptive ability). Ugh i prolly have more to say (I was already thinking about this in the bathroom) but i forgot so that's all ig lol. Point is this was so good so cute and so sad.
Into The Blue Water
Kinda an interesting plot twist but too bad i spoiled myself by starting with the twist lol. Anyways i have mixed feelings about this and i don't like open endings so yeah - SPOILER: Guy likes his soon to be brother in law but un(fortunately) he gets into an accident and loses his memory, so the his sister abandons him and he is his for the taking since his memories only last for a week and then they reset.
Beneath the Surviving Princess Joyful Facade
Ch. 20 Premise is like the other one where the princess has to fake being crazy to not get disposed of but this time we get the forced-marriage-husband's POV. Also she's super cute. Also she really got me in the first half i thought this was gonna be a story of how she gets better (well in a way it still is). I like this one more that the ones before with the same premise, idk, maybe it's because she's more believable and feels less gimmicky.
