Absolutely recommended! Interesting story! Love is like a high wind in this one, but it still feels nice reading it.

The God of Pain's Groom
Read all of season one; did not enjoy. First, it’s based on a novel, so I’m sure there are some details left out that just can’t fit in the comic. Second, there’s a lot of abrupt plot points as in... the pace of the comic is generally slow, which is good, the reader can follow along and enjoy, but suddenly there’s an event that progresses the plot and the character change makes no sense. For example SPOILER (?) the god and MC gets into a fight that reveals their inner emotional turmoil to the other party, and therefore progresses their relationship as they resolve it, but the way the argument is written out and the aftermath MAKES NO SENSE TO ME WHATSOEVER. It doesn’t play out like any argument I’ve been in, witness to, or read about. It’s so- stagnant and how the god accepts MC’s feelings afterwards doesn’t make sense to me. I bought season one comic bc it was on sale. I regret it. If you must read it, read it here or maybe try the original novel instead (hopefully, it’s better)? Also, season one doesn’t end in a resolution or whatnot. SPOILER The original love of the god meets the MC and like, that’s it. MC learns more about the god and the god’s history. When I finally got to the end, it doesn’t feel like the god and MC are a couple. God and original god’s lover definitely still love each other and have unresolved feelings. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do come back together, but they’ve been apart for so long and their memories of each other have been intermixed with pain for so long that god and MC will likely be end-couple just for novelty and change. TL;DR: comic doesn’t progress well. If you insist on reading, read for free here or try the original novel on tapaswithactualinkormoney.
Dress Him Up
Good artwork. Personally, not worth buying. Few dramatics were thrown in but were quickly and easily resolved. Character growth seems very little? Like, I don't understand how they fell in love with each other. Part of the love for BL is the sudden realization that they love this other party, despite it not being the norm. The sex thing doesn't even get brought up. I would just like to see more details... about everything really. More details for relationship build up. More details about tall male lead's school life (yes, the change of dull-looking, to good, and then still boring while pretending to look good is there, but I want more of that discussion of gossip). Feels like a large rolling boulder in the beginning chapters, but a much smaller rolling stone afterwards till the end. Not recommended. But 4 stars for nice artwork and effort.
