just some comments/my opinion I did love it BUT -season 1 sarah is so damn annoying and very disrespectful (after s2 I really started to love sarah) -while i understand mother mary's trauma I still couldnt feel pity or like her for all that she did to the chilrdren and griffin -Griffin deserved to get a happy ending -We never really know what happened to the other kids since Mother Mary decided not to adopt them in the end but also dindt actually give them up for adoption...they deserved better -quite honestly Bayu was the best boy (other than elios ofc) and it wouldve been great to see more of his relationship with Wen after all the suffering we saw him go through -that Ayu bitch deserved jail ngl -kinda wish we'd had a more romantic proposal (it was a cute moment but yk) -we needed more of sigit with riri! Shy sigit was so unbelievably cute -definitely needed ch of their married life with kids (of all the couples!) -Sarah's aunt deserved more than a slap and shouldve apologized to the mom -Sarah's mom was way more loving to Elios than Mary ever was, she really felt like what Elios needed and he finally got a real mom with unconditional love (sarah's mom x elios was the cutest thing ever)

a classic shoujo with all the cliche troops but classic doesn't mean masterpiece or good by the end the only characters who I could genuinely like where Rui and Yuuki.... aka the only characters without "happy" endings stuck in a one sided love. Makino was so damn annoying, I quite liked her at first, she was this strong minded girl who didn't let anyone mess with her or her decisions, then all of a sudden she became this delicate girl unable to decide things for herself and always wavering. While at the last moment the Makino I liked came though and we saw this strong female lead again 90% of the time wasn't like that. She hurt Doumyouji so many times unnecessarily when she could've been honest from the begging like we saw on the first volume. I cant understand why her character changed so much from the beginning in my opinion..for the worse. The thing that annoyed me the most was not Makino but her parents, because while all her indecisiveness frustrated it me it never made want to stop reading compared to all the times I read about her parents and the stupid shit they said or did to the point of accumulating debt but being fine with it bc their daughter will marry a rich guy..wtf can they stfu...more so when the mom saw Makino after being assaulted and didnt even care about her daughter but her letting said rich guy slip from her..and getting called prude just cause she wouldn't "let loose" excuse me tf? Now Doumyouji.. oh Nono, I get why he became popular during the release of this back in the day but why did the author do him this dirty.. its sad bc we saw him hit and assault Makino but later on he never does it again or at least not like at the beginning. what bothered me was the fact they glossed over the SA after Makino had clearly felt horrible about it but all of a sudden she starts thinking "what a tender soft kiss".... AFTER BEING PUSHED DOWN TO THE FLOOR STRIPPED AND KISSED AGAINST HET WILL and you come here to my face author and tell me that after seeing her cry in fear she all of a sudden minutes later recalls this as a romantic moment??? fuck off I think what bothered me the most was seeing that the f4 knew they weren't very good guys but Makino was like this righteous girl very different from them.... but the truth is she wasn't good at all... So this is the whole plot in a nutshell summary of the 37 vols- Makino Likes Rui but gets rejected, kisses/gets kissed by Rui's Bff several times leading him on, the Bff falls in love with her but she never outright reject him even though she like Rui so she continues to use the Bff feelings to get over Rui, Rui gets rejected by the girl she likes and uses Makino to get over her, she essentially cheats on the Bff, gets together with Rui, leaves Rui for the Bff but never confesses, gives Bff hope again, goes bak and forth between the Bff and other guys, creates uneccesary conflict, finally confesses and they date, but then Bff get amnesia, more conflict, get memory back, dating again, Bff decides to leave for NY, they get engaged, and ends with a LDR ngl while I suffered reading this the comedic banter between the Mcs was great and like always cliches are bad but addicting

its a fun little read
