*uncensored (mostly) okay so- I was ready to drop this up to ch 4 as I couldn't understand how Yukari (seme) was a good person BUT he did turnout no to be so bad at the end kind-of-ish... So what the story fails to explain at the beginning (even if they are showing it and later on they try to push that storyline) is that they live in a world where beastman are discriminated by normal humans and they only get to have peaceful lives in their secluded villages but that also turns out to not be true as they get sold off as either prostitutes or slaves when the villages has economic issues. But!! then why when Shima (uke) arrives to the city no one molests him or tries to "keep" him and more so as he is a rare type of beastman -that doesn't make sense... he only gets robed for being naive but that's it. And then we have Yukari who while yes he didn't physically or verbally abused beastman he still bought them and sold them as prostitutes after his uncle died WHEN HE SHOULDVE USED THE MONEY AND SHOP HE HAD TO EDUCATE AND GIVE THEM ACTUAL PROPWR JOBS, he didn't really save them as they make it seem when they talk about him more like he only got the beastman out of horrid situations just to put them in less shitty one but none the less shitty and them they try to pass this as no big deal when the beastman says that "this is the best job as I like sex so im glad im getting payed for it" and I could agree with this if only it was like they had a choice on what they could do with their lives but they dont THEY DONT KNOW ANYTHING AT ALL so no Yukari wasn't that great of a person Its only when he falls for Shima and he wants to give him a life that is normal does he decide to finally use his connections and do what he should done the moment he was free form his uncle aka open a refuge/school for beastman where they dont have to prostitute themselves and think "this is happiness just bc im not getting beaten even if I still have to fuck old men for money" So yeah I have very mixed feeling about Yukari as he only did something goof until the last chapter and that is if we ignore the whole rapey troop that is 80% present in most yaois
