After Yukinori's father collapses, he must return to Fukuoka to help run his father's welding shop, despite knowing nothing about the business. This causes friction with Maki, the factory manager, who find's Yukinori's incompetence and lack of commitment frustrating. However as Yukinori improves as substitute president, so does his relationship with Maki.
